Thoughts and opinions on the below pictures appreciated. I see it as cloudy with a couple amber. It's a high CBD strain MedGom and I've read with those strains to harvest earlier for a higher CBD content. I'm thinking of chopping this weekend. First grow in 10 or 11 years so I'm a little rusty.

Hello there! When to harvest is such a personal choice that it's hard to give advice on it. But from what I'm seeing, the trichs pictured look mostly clear. I saw a few that looked cloudy, but not many. Also, the thing about harvest early for more cbd is not true. The cbd content is in the genetics of the plant. Without sending the plant off to be tested for cbd levels, there is no way of knowing how much, if any, cbd is in the plant/flowers. Could be high levels, could be absolutely no cbd at all. But the trichomes look pretty clear to me, very few cloudy heads.

Sounds good I'll wait it out a couple more weeks then, interesting about the CBD thing, guess I have more research to do in that area. I don't have to tell my wife she was right do I?

might be just 1 or 2 ambers there but still not 1%
clear/cloudy id guestimate at 65/35
keep er lit
:pighug:

I read through the thread and it seemed like the general consensus for CBD strains was to chop as soon as all the trichomes are cloudy but before they turn amber or just as a couple are turning. Dinafem-Mark did a test on one of his plants and CBD peaked at day 70, though I don't know if that was day 70 from seed or flower.
