Simple question gents, and i apologize in advanced if this is in the wrong section.

I would like to clone my outdoor Ultra Lemon Haze. Currently in the second week of flowering. A deer broke a lower branch that was connected to the main stalk and i figured what the hell could it hurt to try and make a few clones. Was going to go to the hydro shop tomorrow and pick up some rooting hormone. Any thoughts and opinions on this?

Thanks in advanced doods!

O! and it's ok if it may take a long time to root or grow. Just would like to know if it's possible.

VICTORY!!!!!!!!! I am actually reeeeeeeeeeeally surprised it worked. Not only is it a known thing for autoflowers not to be able to be cloned, but it was also taken from a mother who was only 3 weeks from harvest!!! AND! the branch had been broken off and not introduced to rooting hormone for another 3 days. It's been just over 2 weeks and i figured they didn't root because i didn't see growth, but it was also weird because the leaves didn't die off....they were still green! So sure enough ( and even though i was delicate i hope i didn't damage the root ) i uprooted the clone and there was a beautiful little 2 inch white root coming out from the branch!!!!!! ^_^!

Not bad for my first time cloning either ;)

So assuming the rule of "still green" applies to the other 3 clones then i should have 4 Ultra Lemon Haze fems!! yay!!

Will post pics if anyone is interested to see them!

As promised.

great work dude love the clones but as JM said i doubt they will yeil next to nothing BUT Congrats on getting all the clones +rep for the first time luckyness :smokebuds:

Thanks man, I was wondering if either you or JM could elaborate a little more on how and why the auto clones wont produce much. Is it because they don't revert to there supposed non existence veg stage? Thanks in advanced guys

Ok so just over 2 weeks later here. This new growth has just started to happen about a few days ago and it has been very fast. Every day it gets bigger. The leaves look a little funny though, not sure if that's normal for auto clones. Still hoping someone can answer my previous question about why auto clones won't yield much. I know autos don't yield much to begin with but will these clones yield the same as there mother?

I guess many have been bred for people for me who look for a small plant that can easily grow indoors and not a giant monster as the weed is very potent and we can plant more plants if we need more volume, I think you are doing very well indeed, do not worry about the leaf I have seen it myself and think it is genetic and does not affect things much other than slow growth a little perhaps. You are growing my favorite bud and I did not realize it was available in Auto form so please I pray tell me which bank makes such a seed and please keep posting pictures of your clones - I am dying to know what yields you get and I would love to know how this Auto compares to the non Auto too - Oh Ganja Gods bless these clones
