Subtropical perpetual outdoor guerilla grow with Connoisseur Genetics: crosses of Neville's Haze, Thai, SSSDHaze, Mullumbimby, Kariba

Oh, and two out of eight of those Thai Madness x ThaiFrican beans have popped.
I also inadvertently gave them a nasty drought stress test at germination.
The two have been put together into a 2L (or so?) pot at the other garden.

Another visit to water and check up.
Sun still strong and hot, up to about 34C.
No rain, apart from 5 minutes the other day that evaporated in about another 5 minutes.
But I may not be able to visit them in the next few days,
so best to top up her water supplies.
Watered until there was some runoff from the holes in the bottom of the container.
Probably about 10-15L total, I'd guess.

A range of pics.
The whole plant, and various shots of the four main tops.

Would a passive watering system like the blumat tropf "carrots" work well for these? Just a reservoir you could fill and let the plants pull as they need. I don't know if you've seen these things.

These kinds of things are very nice.
Thanks for your concern.
But they go against my general guerilla principles of not spending anything more than I need to,
and making the site look as little as possible as if someone (myself!) is actually growing anything there.
Like, if someone was standing in the site, and didn't know what ganja looks like (most people around here),
then they will just think it's a bunch of wild weeds growing in some old discarded boxes.
Sounds ridiculous, but it's actually possible here.
I try to keep the site looking wild and abandoned, like the area around it.
I have -- at a different garden -- had workers move pots with 1m tall autos in them, when doing maintenance work.
They just moved them around to do the work, I guess thinking they were random pots with weeds,
or someone's little garden in the wild.
Crazy, huh?
They'll be okay.

With the Swiss Thai Neville and Outback Haze in his/her genetics, there's a lot of Nev's Haze in the mix.
The rest is the two different Thais, the Mullumbimby, and the Zimbabwean Kariba.
Expect something NLD, with about 14-16 weeks in flower from this, if female.

Finally managed to get one of those seeds to survive.
Lost count of how many I've dropped so far, to leave them to either drown or die of drought.
Dropped some more today, even...

I've moved him/her to another location for now.
Should be fairly safe there.
But plan to find yet another site.
Though I need to prepare it.
I want to half-bury this pot in the ground.
Better than in this rather small pot.

At least you managed to get some doing the doo, hopefully the others you've dropped will follow suite.

MadMac OHaze x Tom Hill Haze
First two test-seeds are nicely germinated and now in small pots with organic soil

I will give these a couple of weeks in small pots as seedlings,
then throw down another two (or so) seeds as a follow up.
Looking for a male in addition to some females.

Meanwhile, yet another big storm.
A lot of wind, about the same as that last one,
and the rain is mostly coming through in its wake.
After last time, I'm sure Miss Volunteer and the little Thai Madness x ThaiFrican seedling will be fine.
And it saves me having to water for a week or so.
