Hi all am looking for information on co2 is anybody using and what results are you getting

I bought an exhale bag for my tent. I am still in veg with a new to me variety.
I have heard good things. They last 6 months and allegedly work well in small spaces.

I run a propane co2 generator in my hydro room with excellent results. What sized area are you working with?

Thanks for the reply's have been out of town and just got back I am in a 4x4x7 tent so to small for a generator, so I am thinking of running a tank with a regulator and a valve that holds the ppms at 1000,run to air hose at back of fan. I hadn't seen much on here about it but had been doing some reading on it and everything I read seemed positive

Yes, a generator would be overkill for an area that sized. Bottled does sound like a better option for you.

I believe you should only use CO2 if everything in your grow-room is maxed out!
If done in a professional way it can increase your growth up to 25% and reduce grow time by 20%!
The problem using C02 is that you have to keep your CO2 gas contained in your growroom but get the heat and humidity out!
So this means you need some serious complicated system that will cost alot!
A decent device to monitoring your CO2 concentration will cost you around 1500 dollars!
For the most people its not worth to even try it!

If you're running HPS lighing, then I agree, setting up CO2 can be very expensive. But if your running LEDs, T5s or CFLs, you can run a closed environment with no external venting, thus no loss of CO2. That's how I'm running mine. Cost me less than $600 to set it up. A CAP GEN2 burner, $250, an Atlas 3 controller , $320, 20 lb. propane tank, $20. Yes, you may also need humidity control, but it's likely you'll need that regardless of if your using CO2 or not.

I agree with Soylent here 100%. CO2 is the very LAST thing I would look at doing.... if you have proper intake and extraction your plants are getting enough CO2 and adding CO2 before you have EVERYTHING else absolutely dialed in to 100% is just wasting your precious time money and head ache.

I agree with Muddy too. If you have LED or CFL etc then CO2 is much easier to use as you're not having to extract all the time. Or if you have HPS and Air Conditioning then it's fine too. But anyway... don't use CO2 (especially if it's going to cost you time and money) you're better of getting more lights, hydroponics, better nutrients, dial in your nutrients, better PH pen better EC pen, etc. Loads more stuff is important to get first than CO2. That's the last thing you want to worry about

Also just being in your room and exhaling releases a LOT of CO2. Which is why having a mini bud growing tent in your bedroom is a GREAT idea, especially if you have the lights in the tent on while you're sleeping, then the plant is getting a continuous more than enough CO2 supply while you sleep.
