I keep reading about voltage drop but can't see anyone stating what a safe limit is,
I think when I do the others il re do the driver.
Thanks for clearing that up for me
Is voltage drop between the cobs though? Rather than from driver to cobs? I actually suddenly remembered this yesterday AFTER I had built the light and as I was hanging it lol, so hopefully I'm right lol. Seems fookin bright so not too worried!
Yea I'm under the impression that the voltage drop is from the driver to the cobs, I'm running 3 36v cobs with max 108v driver so I can't afford any loss really, I know iv got a volt or so as I'm only running 1400mA.
But didn't fancy chancing it for now

There is always line loss depending on your distance from driver to cob, or any electrical circuit for that matter.. But at the voltages were running it should be very very low.. The fix is to up size the wire from driver to first cob, if your worried.. Larger diameter cable=lower line loss..
Cheers
