Lighting Cob options

Just read that tread, wow need to look into auto cobs, do they have separate drivers per light? I like that idea.

Got my pen and paper ready to do a price list of parts but now auto cobs! Are they available in the uk?

Unfortunately no they are USA only for now.

I can't find these leds in the uk eBay int even only has the 1212 that I can find. Searching that entire part number I can't find them :/

And 3000k or 3500k?

My first choice would be 3000k 90 cri, 2nd choice would be 3500k 90cri, 3rd choice would be 3500k 80cri personally. If you cant find them in UK, you can order from alibaba? Guy selling the cobs also sells meanwell drivers I think, kingbright is his name I think...

Thanks I found the driver but 120 per unit is abit pricey on eBay. Never used that alibaba site

@Slater just posted a good link for cobs in the U.K. Alibaba sells the same drivers I use in my autocobs and the distributer told me they are fake. They also said the cobs are old stock meaning the factory warranty may be out or close to it. I haven't had any warranty issues yet but it could happen

Where was this posted and that's my worry with buying on there as I have stung with Chinese copy before.

That's put me off there then.
I'd like to source everything in the uk for warranty purposes and safety.
But also want to be able to buy but by bit as funds allow.
