Grow Mediums CoCo flood LED PurpleLights (NLxPurple Kush)

I'm a first day feeder as well. wile e nailed it on how I start out too.
This will be fun to watch. Sounds like your ready to go.

Well i did a feeding of 1 gallon of water with 1.25 ml of both GH bio root and GH micro between the 10 of them. I have a all in one ppm/PH meter but the PH part stopped working yesterday. I checked the PPM my water was 270ppm and after nutes it was 380ppm so they got a small feeding. Not much run off on them either but i can tell that the coco needs to be flushed REALLY well. I might switch to DTW with a dripper to try to keep from wasting so much nute solution. But anyways here are a few pics of what i got so far!

In a few days I'm going to put some hydroton on the top of the coco to make sure no light gets into the root system. Thanks for checking everything out guys!!

Hey @fatcalvin :pass:
I don't always run a drip... but when I do I use these. Drip caps.

They're designed to fit over the 6" cube.
I cut the corners off to fit it inside a 2 gallon Airpot.

I like these because they serve a dual purpose of feeding and blocking light from the top of the cube.

Thanks Ronin, those are pretty cool looking. I might try them on the next time. My goal is to start another set right before these ones come down. I really want to utilize the ebb n flow, as it is something that ive wanted to do for a while. I just dont like the color that come out of the coco when the runoff comes out. Im thinking it will clear up some when after a few wet/dry cycles. Its not grainy like its losing coco, its more of just changing the water color :( . Im super excited to see the progress though.!!

This is day 6! Well i let the girls dry out a few days and fed them today. I used 2 gallons between the 10 and they had some runoff on each of them. I mixed up 2.5 ml cal-mag, 3.75 ml GH bio-root, and 2.5 ml micro per gallon. They are starting on their 2nd set of leaves right now. I noticed they were not a green as they should be so i boosted the BR and Micro this time. Im going to start the once a day flood tomorrow with possibly the the same regimen. I got some pics going to try to put them up in a bit.

Well today is day 12 I believe. I got a little mixed up with the days. Anyways here are some pics of what i got so far.

DAY 9
IMG_1722.JPG IMG_1723.JPG IMG_1724.JPG They got their first flood friday. I used for 18 gallons of water : 5 tsb of GH maxi-grow ( Forgot i had it!), 12tsb cal-mag, 9tsb of GH Bio-root. 5.6 PH @390PPM. RO water

DAY 12
IMG_1726.JPG IMG_1727.JPG IMG_1728.JPG PH drifted up to about 6.3 over the weekend. Had company and couldn't daily attention on it. Dropped PH down to 5.8. The last pic looks like there might be a little deficiency. There are only 2 of them that look like that and i think one is because its not as strong as the rest. Could possibly be light burn from the LED but like i said they are all about the same height so I'm not sure.

Thanks for checking it out!!

Dude. 390 ppm. They could be hungry. 500-700 ppm could help with that.

Thanks Roark! Ever since I started growing I have always been cautious of over feeding/water. Not sure why exactly but I just dont want to mess anything up. I checked them out yesterday night and they are starting to grow pretty decently now( I'm guessing). I was planing on taking the PPM up to about 500 today as its the start of week 3/day 14. Maybe I'll try like 600-700 PPM and see what that does for them. They are all probably 6" tall and pushing out their 4th set of real leaves. Im hoping the LEDs keep them short and all bud. There are also starting to get nodes in between the main stock and leaf sets. I think next run ill try hitting them a lot harder in the beginning and compare the two grows!

Well i bumped my PPMs up to about 640 and PH is at 5.8. I used a big scoop of GH Maxi grow, 10 tsb of bio root and 10 tsb of cal mag because they looked like they were a little yellowish like a slight mag deficiency. hopefully over the next few days they will boom with growth
