Some observation(s)
2 plants growing in coco/perlite 70/30 with germinated seed started in 3 inch rockwool cube and compared to 2 plants in coco/perlite 70/30 germinated seeds in coco pellets.
Measued runoffs of all plants every day.
Results- the plants in the rockwool/coco/perlite consistently showed ph of 4.5-5.5 with a higher ec values than was put in. Yet, the plants grew nicely without any major issues.
I attempted to raise the ph by inputting 6.5 ph, but could never increase the ph runoff values.
I have read a number of articles to disregard ph runoff values in coco and maybe this is true. Some people say the opposite.
Comparatively, the coco/perlite/coco pellets grew well and ph and ec input and runoff values were inline.

I know you grow in rockwool-do you check your runoff and if so what are your findings? I am a curious cat. Thanks.
