So do i have to pre charge with cal mag or can i just water it to my seedling once it sprouts? Ill also be growing cherry tomatoes so this question covers a wide spectrum.

Thanks guys in advance.

If you are doing tomatoes, then you precharge. You can use cali/mag or calcium nitrate. Bloosom end rot and bloosom drop are caused by lack of secondaries and dry medium. Cover that crazy need for calcium tomatoes have, and you will have a giant yield.

Ya i remember reading about their weird calcium needs. I feed every watering since im in coco 5ml cal mag plus. The leaves are all curled up like tacos and some are blotchy cant figure out why..
im also giving them a lil flora nova grow and silica protectant and some rapid growth by general hydroponics. My gut is telling me i shouldebe feeding them so much so early. But alot of ppl on here and youtube say its fine.

The leaves do that on my varieties of tomatoes, curling I mean. The spotting sounds like lack of light intensity. My advice would be to get some real good and cheap bloom fertilizer, like Maxibloom. Then add some calcium nitrate, and you are good. Calcium nitrate is 15.5-0-0 and 19% calcium, so it will eliminate any blossom end rot when it fruits heavily. No more than a teaspoon or two of the calcium nitrate per five gallons of water, and feed constantly.

Ya i think the blotches are from nutrient splash while watering. Im running a mars hydro 900 24inches away so i thought that would be plenty.

Yes, nutrient solution left on leaves in direct sun, will burn.
