Ok I Decided to order me a block of coco and I've never used it before and need a few pointers I've got only about 4 seeds left and if they don't make it I'm screwed until spring time comes.

Coco usually consumes (in a sense) calcium. I have used coco for a very long time and usually add a few extra ml of calmag to counter act it. And always run my ph between 6.2-6.4

I use the same brand as you. Make sure to give it a good rinse before you use it.

There is a board on AFN for growing in coco.

If you want to know what to do with the brick, I think all you have to do is find out if it has salt in it or not. If it does, it needs a good rinse before use. And you need some space or a wheel barrow to hydrate the bricks. They expand to like 10 times their size when hydrated.

After that, there is that board for growing in coco. Lots of info there on growing with coco. And later people will be able to read all the answers you get just by going to the coco board instead of it being buried in the Mephisto board.

Good luck with the last of your bean stash and the winter grow!

I keep my ph around 5.8 to 6.0 in my coco. Once its rinsed bro I would pre load it with some phed water with cal mag and watch you beans grow big and tall lol. I love my coco plants. Make sure you water your plants with plain phd water also so you dont get any lock out of build up. I usually do 2 feeds 1 water 2 feeds then ill do a small flush and start over.

Yes you want to expand the block in ph water. Then when its all fluffed up let,it drain out real good, usually takes an extra day. Then you soak it down with ph water and cal mag and your good to grow
