Colorado issues first licenses for recreational marijuana businesses - The Denver Post

It's a great read if you have time. These are stores that will be selling recreational marijuana.. will be interesting to see how they pan out in the long haul and how the federal government handles them. If they go left alone I believe we'll start seeing more legalization through out the other states. I also bet that Colorado will have some amazing public services here in the future with the tax income they're going to make off these stores.

OMG, allowing people to smoke mj for recreational purposes? Shock horror! The world is coming to an end. lol.

About time too.

That's why I'm here.

Great post good to know things are changing for the better, think this would go good in the cannibis news section!

This is where the tightrope walk begins, the rest of the country is watching. If Colorado succeeds in regulation and taxation, im sure other states will start, at the very least, looking into easing MJ laws. If Colorado screws it up......thats when states are gonna lockdown and say "I told you so". I prey that Colorado is successful in uncharted territory in the US, but i hope they stay strict on proper licensing and keep all their I's and lower cased j's dotted and crossed. Their actions dictate how other states will react. Holy hell i never thought i would see a time when i said strict regulation was good!

Thanks WG,

I guess dreaming of "pot shops" as a kid wasn't so rediculous now, was it!

Go Grean
