Ok so I’m on day 28 ( auto’s ). I am using autopots, Canna A&B, with Canna CalMag
My in the res. These are my numbers
Ph 5.6
PPM 0467 22.1 c
EC 0934

At the pots
Ph 6.3
PPM 0467
EC 0934

Now I have already dumped the res once and started over. I do have and use R/O.
My plants are droopy, and yellow. Looks to me that there is a magnesium and nitrogen deficiency? I did give them another top shot of calmag which fixed things the first time but here I am again.

Another issue I’m dealing with is that one time the first pot overflowed when the air dome is turned on (15 minutes per hour ) . It always rises the water level , but this time it overflowed. I added the washers on top of the floats as seen in a video addressing this issue. Guess I’m taking them off today. This only happens in the first pot not the second down the line
Any help would be oh so appreciated

These are in the coco mixed with worm castings? I don't use or know autopots so I can't help with the airdomes and valve issue. However, with coco it's pretty airy so I don't think you need the airdome. If they are causing an issue I would leave them off.

Also, if your nutes and pH are on point but your plants aren't responding well I think it's the worm castings you added to the coco. I've seen a few people pull off organic nutrient grows in coco so it is possible. It looks to me like you've mixed organic inputs with the "salt" type of input with the Canna products. It could be very difficult to balance.

When you say a topshot of calmag, did you mix calmag with water and add that to the top of the pot?

Ok so the organic is fighting salt base? I remember people asking why on the earthworm casting. Guess I’m seeing the problem now😂 so the obvious question is should I scrap them and start over?

Now I have to ask why would the air domes added oxygen be a bad thing? Is it capable of drying out my roots? As far as I understand auto’s love oxygen.

The top shot yes it was mixed with water and Ph’d and added from the top

Plant looks OK to me. What do you see that is a significant problem such that you are rather blindly adding cal-mag? Other than perhaps 1 large fan leaf somewhat yellow sticking out (who cares, just 1 older/bigger leaf), what problem is visible to you?

With your hyped-up coco and seemingly feeding a good dose of base nutes plus adding cal-mag, it could be excess(es) that is causing any problems you see. You could be adding too much cal-mag if the nutes and/or media have sufficient amounts. Ca excess and related N antagonism could explain any yellowing you are seeing. Check your Canna base nutrient product and see if it has sufficient Mg (and Ca). And isn't Canna coco already well buffered for calcium/magnesium? Perhaps ask why your reservoir pH is 5.6 while it's 6.3 at the AutoPot bases. Might you have too much calcium salts in your hyped-up media raising the pH in the pots? Did you charge/pre-treat the coco; with what?

If you think you have a Mg deficiency, don't add cal-mag, just add Mg (epsom salts), and consider supplementing with these strong salts by foliar feeding, totally avoiding messing with the reservoir and media.

Particularly with your level of uncertainty, if in doubt don't mess with the plants! Other than adding cal-mag and getting other opinions regarding feed dosage and pH, your best option may be to just keep on doing what you've been doing, which looks OK to me.

With the autopots for whatever reason the ph rises as it flows through the tubing. 5.2 - 5.8 is what is suggested at the Res. This is normal from what I understand
I see the yellow on the leaves with dark green veins at a few of the tops.
The grow store was out of Canna Coco, so I took what they had which was RX Green technologies which they said was buffered and the packaging has the OMRI seal on it
No need to scrap 😎 I will keep rolling
