Do you have any exhaust fan at all? Growth without an exhaust fan is possible. Try covering yourself with your pillow and breathe. 
Plants need fresh air. The circulating fans do only part of the job but you have to have an active outtake to refresh the air (Via exhaust fan like the one in your bathroom.)
