This is my 2nd grow that's almost finished (65 days ), Snowryder Auto by Short Stuff Seed, I took these pictures last week. 4 plants grown indoors using Bubbleponics. This strain, according to the seed bank has a maximum height of 15" or 40 cm. The height of my plants differ, 37" 34" 25" and 19". See specs below. Could the method of growing affect the height this much? I mean no big deal, just an honest mistake by the seed bank and I will end up with way more weed than the Snowryder I originally ordered. Anybody ever have the wrong seeds sent? Just curious. IMG_135200.jpgIMG_135400.jpg

There is a similar Snowryder Auto bred by White Label but it's spelled Snow Ryder (2 separate words ) I'm thinking that's what I was sent since that strain grows much taller ( [h=2]WHITE LABEL SEEDS - SNOW RYDER: AUTOFLOWERING STRAIN THAT WILL REWARD YOU VERY GENEROUSLY.[/h]Snow Ryder by White Label Seeds is the result of a strive to find easy growing auto flowers than glisten under the light as if covered in ice crystals. This Auto flower will grow to about 100cm tall and yields 100g in only 50 days. Snow ryder is perfect for those looking for speed and convenience and has advantages both indoors and outdoors.
Snow Ryder has a surprisingly potent physical stone with a sweet hint of mental high.

oops ... lucky you had the space for the bigger plants ... at least they were autos ...:tiphat:

Certainly big gals.....:)

Sure it is possible. Did you happen to save the packaging? Did you let the seed bank know? Even if it was an honest mistake, you should get what you paid for. The plants looks amazing though!

The Short Stuff Snowryder that I've grown wasn't the most stable and exhibited about 3 different phenotypes. From a short one with a tight, compact bud up to a bush pheno that had more elongated, loose sativa dom buds. It's an older auto strain that would probably benefit from a bit of reworking and further stabilization. I'm sure those sizes were from soil grows. I would expect to see much bigger plants from a good bubbleponics grow like yours.

That White Label Snow Ryder has never caught on. When it first came out it wasn't autoing and it seems that reputation has carried through. I've not seen a grow of it in ages. Seems no one buys it, at least no one here at AFN.

Muddy, The different phenotypes is probably what's happening to my grow. I also have one that's very bushy (the 34" one) and the buds aren't like the other 3 plants, the other 3 have tight buds. The 37" plant wants to tip over so it has to be tied up because the buds are so heavy and as far as the 34 gm yield, I should at least double that amount. The other 3 should be an average yield as noted by Short Stuff Seed.

I agree, you probably are just seeing the different phenos. It's a good strain with positive medical benefits, especially if you let it go long. If you're after the medical effect I wouldn't be in a hurry to pick it. Let it go for about 12 weeks.

Yeah... you have just bursted my bubble.

I wanted to purchase it but since it has proven not to be a IBL... I doubt I'll be growing it. Specially cos my growing area is very limited. Lol
Hopefully i havent tried to stealth it outdoor!

Thank you so much for posting your flowers!

Do any of you guys know strains that are stable with their phenos and are sold in Regular seeds?
I wont go for feminized... :/

Some Dragons' strains are sold as regs, available at RCMC seed bank. Can't comment on pheno stability or IBL, but they're really popular around here and haven't seen any complaints lol. A quick search here or asking Mossy would give better info about the phenos :)

I think that it also has to do with your setup, I have found that I always need more space than what they say. When we do DWC or Aeroponics or Bubbleponics,we are simply taking what we know canna plants like and take it to unnatural levels. IE the levels of oxygen the roots get in a DWC say would NEVER happen in nature.

So after about my 3rd or 4th grow of having your problems(thinking I got the wrong seeds because it was only supposed to be X big) I realized I was much better at doing this than a lot of folks(not in any way trying to gloat or chest thump) and the differnce in what I was doing 90% of the time is going to give me bigger plants. I had a Blueberry from DP that was supposed to be a shorter plant. The site now does say a heavy yeild when grown under the right conditions(it did not say that before hmmmm lol) I had a single plant with 600 watts HPS and c02 enrichment from a bottle and the plant ended up being almost 5 feet tall and giving me almost 400 grams of dry weight at the end. It was a MONSTER and I just knew I had gotten the wrong seed because it was so big. The only thing that made me know it was right was the strain, there is NO mistaking real Blueberry IMO you know it when you smell it. Also I had grown that same strain before so it was undeniable.

When a plant is givin what I call extreme optimum conditions there growth is much more limitied to space rather than strain.

You sir are in an elite zone of growing canna, you have the healthiest plants a person could have in my humbolt opinion. Keep doing what you are doing and be very proud of your ladies, they will reward you handsomly. Sorry for the long post :)
