Indoor Crash and burn, resurrection, and Light comparison, first auto grow

new pics tomoeeow and the LUX readings. been working hard :( but grow is mindblowing :)

Pictures of LED/HID lights on this grow. the hand held pictures, i had to lock because of trying to get an angle that wouldn't glare off the face. realizing that some would think it was "rigged" to look that way, i simply put the senser on the bucket tops (120cm's distance as compared to the 60cm hand held distance) anyone really interested in the difference of lumens to LUX can look it up but both are basically the same. I use LUX in my work for "total light" comparisons and spectrometers for nm research. micromoles being shown here are a grouping of color, in this case reds and greens. (I use nm to nm specifications andView attachment 133023 microwatts readings) if the total LUX is higher on narrow band lighting (LED) than on broad band lighting (HID), by deduction, you already know the theView attachment 133022 micromole is higher. so when George says lumens are not necessary in taking readings, simply put, wrong. Its a very good video and helped prompt me in View attachment 133021the LED direction. Also, you will note that he has stopped talking about bin 4 and 5, the IR sections. IR is very important for the photo chemical reactView attachment 133020ions to take place in the leaf walls, just like the IR needed for D3 in humans, yes, its a photo reactive action but it needs heat (IR) to complete thisView attachment 133019 action. we believe that the near IR is better because it penetrates deeper. the new LED has 815nm added at a 10-4-1 ratio. enough bable, some pictures:View attachment 133018 OH, and i should explain, these are reading with "00" after the number, 62,100LUX. Half of mid day sun

View attachment 133027I still have not gotten the posting pics yet. the 2 important ones are these View attachment 133026 they are at 4' from the lights (120cm) The higher numbres at at 60cm (2') and again, read as 21000HID and 26200LED. If you look close at the bottom of the screen, you will see x00. I use 3 setting LUX meters. standard, x10, x100. Yesterday the new LED with IR went up.

Looking epic kirby, I love the looks of that 8 spot LED. Things are starting to get real bushy in here :smokeit:

Thanks Green, but really has been a screwed up grow. but what i was saked to do, was done. The 300wt (287wt) LED did grow like mad crazy compared to the very best 1000wt HID (mh-hps) i could find. the buds will tell the total truth in the end. loosing my first 7 TD's messed up the even grow i wanted. Tony somewhere recently made a comment about useing the same stock to achieve that but from the AK's i just planted shows that you still have stunts compared to others from the same bag. In the old days we just yanked those but we didn't pay these prices for seeeds. When I'm testing new lights and i ask for 10, do you think that i get the first 10 off the line? the engineers goes around and tests about 100 from stock and sends me the best 10. are you getting my drift here? :)
