Hiyuz,

I've been hunting here for definitive threads about cropping and scroggin autos.
I've seen this and that but nothing like a guide.

Any leads??

I found this elsewhere but didn't know how accurate it is being a non auto....

My little plants are day 18 and I'm thinking I may have waited too long to top.
Thinking scrog/sog is coming soon.

But I'm a noob.
What do I know?

You reference cropping, do you mean:
Topping - as above
Super cropping - bending over tall stems that are too close to the lights.
Harvest - when you yield the fruits of your labour ( my favourite lol)

If you have the room, just grow your first one out, the yields aren't massively different, especially on a first grow. See how they grow, how long things take and any issues you have with your space, medium and nutes.

Then on your next you can top and scrog. Bear in mind with a scrog you can't move your plant until it's done, which is why I don't do that (and it looks like a faff, lol). Sog (sea of green) is just a load of plants packed in a space.

I need to maximize my potential as dispensaries won't have product here till possibly February.
What I get is all I'll have.
I have a 3x4 area with 4 plants and 1 little 2 liter buckaroo in the center.

I read your topping thread before.
Problem is, I don't know how to count nodes.
Does one count the very first 2 little seedling leaves?
Don't laugh.
Where to start counting?

I needsta know how high to set the scrog from top of planter pot.
