Aloha folks,
I am curing my rockwool but I am unable to procure any ph up, or ph down. I did find out they make ph up, ph down in a powder form so i am ordering that. At any rate I am currently attempting to cure my rock wool using lemon juice. I will let you know tomorrow if it works or not.
Does anyone use the powder form of ph up, ph down? From what I understand it is supposed to be very strong so you don't use much and it lasts a long time, but I'd feel better if I knew folks here were using it too. Plus I can get the powder shipped to me.
As usual mahalo for your help.

Aloha, you can get by with household stuff in a pinch. Organic ph down found in your own home, white viinegar lowers ph
Baking soda ups your ph

I have not used the powdered form of ph adjusters, but yes, liquid or powder for, a little goes a long way!

Thanks briman. I checked the ph of the rockwool in the lemon juice and water solution and it was at 3.2 ph. I drained the water lemon juice solution and added tap water. I then checked the ph again and it was at 7.2, so I added some more lemon juice and will check it again tomorrow. I hope it is at 6.5 or lower as my seeds are splitting open and I gotta get my girls into some wool toot sweet. Main thing I'm worried about is the rock wool ph spiking. Any other sage advice would be greatly appreciated.

Me tykes are residing in their rock wool cubes and they seem to be doin well. The photos were smaller seeds than the autos, but they seem to be growing at a quicker pace at this time. Pics in next post.

NM.. I see you got it worked out..

Thanks anyways greenjeans. I want to post some pics, but they are really puny. I was looking at some folks plants 11 days from sprout and they are giants compared to mine. They are only 6 days old and their growth rate is accelerating so patience , plus I have no gauge to go by, this is my very first grow...been burning for several decades, but social taboos kept me far away from the growing aspect.
