Hi guys.. I left this Auto Durban Poison at a friend's place for a couple of weeks! when I got it back some leaves had really weird marks on them. Is it some bug that need to be taken care of? I looked everywhere but couldn't find anything fishy on leaves and pot.
pictures - around 26 days old and growing outdoors

I'm not sure KB. It definitely looks like "leaf miner maggots". They are resistant to pesticides, but the good news seems to be that they don't pose any real threat to your plants. Apparently, you should squish the little buggers inside their burrows and remove affected leaves. They lay eggs at the bottom side of the leaves. If you could try to get some 'sticky yellow tape' at a garden centre, they'll be attracted onto it and be stuck there. Don't be too discouraged, as info I've read suggest they are fairly easily eradicated and you can continue with your grow. Here's a link that explains a little more http://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/marijauna-pests-leaf-miners/

Thanks @Cat .. that helped! :pass:

:smoking: leaf miners for sure mate! A type of caterpillar, so anthing that kills them will be fine,... I like products with Spinosad in it (food safe), or the many bacterial suspension products with Bacillus thuringiensis in it,... foliar spray and they go away,...:amazon:.... be sure to get a wetting agent as well, this will help it coat better,...

no, you're right EoF, if fact systemics might be better for prevention, discouraging the little shits from digging in after a taste or two! Nailing existing ones though will need more immediate acting products,... I'm considering a systemic myself for the OD KS girls,.. damned black flyer aphids are relentless this year, and I'm not close by anymore to go on regular hand-to-hand combat patrol with them! :amazon: ..I was looking at an SNS brand product today for this,.. do you have a fav' brand ?

@Waira is it possible that leaf miners leave on their own? because after posting the pics on AFN I looked into link shared by @Cat and it suggested to pinch the tunnels on leaves.. I did that and so far haven't seen the situation deteroriate! am I lucky and got them all or is something worse waiting to happen. I didn't get rid of the leaves yet but I may cut down 2-3 that are more than 90% damaged.
