Cursed leaves

Doesn't that article also say that you should squish them in their tunnel to kill em? I would think by cutting off one tunnel, it would only move in another direction. I wonder if they lay eggs. If so, removing leaves might help, plus removing the affected leaves might also stop them tunnelling their way elsewhere.

well me personally I would use a foliar of frass and kelp then use a systemic 209 rosemary acid. its a catch all when ever i have used it. pisses a lot of eating and sucking bugs right off and the kelp and frass typically piss them off and kill em quickly. and maybe some surfactant soap too for good measure. LOL!

:smoking: yeah, you can effectively squish them too, if there's not many... but crushing the leaf tissue as well as the rotting body of the miner can open it up to potential microbial attack down the road,... treat the plants with what's been suggested here for best results....

>> Cat
, leaf miners are a caterpillar, so no on egg laying,...

>> EoF  thanks bud, I thought you probably have used that product! My only concern is during bloom, and how the incorporated acids will affect flavor,...I see it says to stop using a couple weeks before harvest,... apparently it gets metabolized and broken down after a fairly short time...What's you experience with this?

oh the 209 wont mess with the flavor. 1-2 weeks prior to chop give the soil only water and the plant metabolizes it nicely,no burn, sting nadda. lovely smoothness. I used to use it every grow but only use it in season as a preventative. works well.

I'm sold! I plan to use it for veg mostly anyway,..hoping this crazy-ass population spike of baby shittin' black flyer aphids will die back some! Seriously bro, in two days, clean plants had up to a dozen of them on there, with scores of baby's crapped out all over the place! :cuss:...my client isn't very good at this war thing, and eye sight ain't up to it either, so a systemic for now is the ticket I believe,.. :pimphand: back off bitches!!... thanks my friend- :pighug:
