Im using the cutting edge solutions 3 part in dwc. The companies instructions seem pretty heavy, im getting cal deficiencies using it. With 7ml calmag per gal the ppm is about 1600. Anyone have a better feeding schedule?

hola roacho
whats ur ph?
is ur ph tester accurate?
are u using r/o water?

calcium is best absorb at 6.2
i use 0.5ml / liter calmag as a rule of thumb, when defficency shows us i go for 1:1. never had to go 2:1 as suggested on label.

anyhow 1600ppm is quite high.
what stage u at?
maybe pics?

cheers bro and good luck

Hey whats up man. I have a milwaukee ph tester, its at 5.8 i check a few times a day, and adjust when necessary. Using ro. I had previous success with dwc til the airdisk got clogged and was trapped in the root ball. The plant was huge and i attached it to a tomato cage, not realizing i wouldnt beable to clean the res, then the plant got to big to move. I still got 12 oz of 2 week premature bud and over a pound of fluff. So i do have some experience. I was using tge gh trio, 1:2:3 x2 in bloom.I am having terrible problems with low humidity right now, i got an ultrasonic humidifier but it wasnt nearly enough, the rh is still 15-27%. The plants have pretty much stopped growing. Im getting a big humidifier today. You can see what i believe is a calcium def on the lower leaves. Honestly the dryness is causing so many problems, its hard to sort things out, but i think i can get a better nute schedule going

The bottle instructions call for 8ml micro, 5ml bloom and 15-20ml grow in veg. Seems like alot and ppm is high

actually bro it looks similar to what i had during my last dwc exactly at the aame stage.... if i remember right cal def shows randomly on the mid party of the plant.. not sure tho.. anyway whats ur res water temp? color of roots? id say drop the ppm up to 0.8 in veg (1.1ec)... i never went above 1.8 ec which is 1.3 ppm +-

also weird discoloration, spots, crust on leaves and droppy leaves sometimes signals on root zone problems... so maybe...

yes most manufacturers reccomend too much, especially for autoflowering cannabis. I have never gone over 1200 PPM in full flower and have never had much of a deficiency issue of any kind.

That looks more like a pH issue than deficiency to me. Ca def will show as spots that go necrotic or leaf margins drying out, and normally on the upper leaves because it is a immobile nutrient.

You may have phosphorous toxicity, or magnesium lockout with that high PPM.
That often mimics nitrogen deficiency.

yea also i wanted to say it doesnt look like cal def... more like mag or N but id be looking on rootzone and ph.. try adding "great white" or any micorehza (mispelled fo sure lol)

btw, if shes 20 days from seed shes very well developed. try using wome wet towels for humidity... they do get bitchy when rh below 50 on veg... id aim for 25c with 65-70% rh idealy... also in flower 26c with 55-60% even 65..

Im pretty positive its calcium, it appears as little rust spots, heres a pic i downloaded. Check out google images. It seems better now, 99% of my problems are humidity related. Have you tried mycos in dwc? I have some, and have tried it before, but the spores clogged the airstone. Maybe ill try to add a small amount at a time. Im looking for cutting edge mixes for dwc, but not getting results
