Gotta check of she's soluble eyez, it's gaia greens kelp meal that I ammended my organic soil wit, simple mix of promix hp, cow manure, kelp meal and glacial rock dust

Plus got some blueberry fem photo beans (MOB) and a NL fem bean courtesy of yoda budz spreading the love at rcmc, germing a couple of each this weekend, little late for photo than I'd like but damn the MOB looks killer

Thanks eyez, using chilli powder for the rabbits, diatomicous earth sprinkled about and just tried kelp spray last night, gonna grab some dawn soap and stay of top of it, TSC has a sale on right now for bug b gone, gotta look into that, plus pro mix hp for 23

Dogshit & human shit stew for the rodents & deer
chili powder does almost nothing to stop rodents
Seriously, make a shit stew and pour several gradually bigger circles around your plant
You wont be able to smell it after a day or two
but the animals will. And they dont like eating where predators are close enough to shit.

Hah! I know it sounds pretty disgusting. But really I just use the word "stew" to get the point across . There doesn't have to be a ton of the offending material in the mix.
Piss is OK, but just like you, they don't find it nearly as disgusting or alarming as shit. and it doesn't carry your scent long.

But if you aren't have deer problems, the rodents mostly likely not decimate your crop, they can do plenty of damage.
Deer on the other hand, have no manners and may not even leave you a stub sticking out the ground to remember the plant by.

If the "stew" idea is too revolting, you could just leave some dog crap around or human crap. But then prevailing winds might carry the scent away from your plant unless you got it pretty well spread out.

I know it sounds gross, but it is about as effective as any other non fence deterent and cheap!

The biggest issue your gonna have with using certain Manures and human wastes are pathogens(even blood meals n such too).if you compost them correctly they are safer but not usually recommended.but do work well.you can look into Spinosad(Jacks Deadbug) and spray your general area with it once you read the bottle and figure out how far ya wanna protect.and the deer repellent that ive seen recommended here seems to work rather well.I would just pee outside often and in different areas right near my plants and had no issues,you can also hang Hiai in a nylon from a tree too,but the liquid deer fence is cheap and pretty effective I think.dunno if ya've ever used it,but ya may wanna give it a look see."AFN smoke out"Tiz time to fire up another one n get my stuff in from the storm."AFN smoke out""AFN smoke out"
