Day 15 First problem, confused...

It looks like I can get castille soap in my area, as long as using lavender scented won’t hurt?

Accurate 8 is in. readings are below.

I saw that reading and cringed. That pH would be a disaster over here in hydro. You're right on the money though.

So the environmental factors and nutrition are the likely culprit here.

The tips of older leaves have burned a bit but she looks hungry to me. The new leaves may be eating off of the old ones for mobile nutrients.
The new growth is coming out well, but the droopy appearance and folding leaves indicate environmental stress or over/under watering. So double check the air flow and light distance. I hope that helps. Waira is the best at this, I'm just a volunteer helper.

You will be so happy to have that pH meter in the future, it all starts with proper pH.

Good luck!

:d5:- excellent! pH is a little high, borderline alkaline; given the A8's +/- 0.2 resolution,... So, how many times did you treat with foliar? So far, it looks about the same, and up higher than before,... odd, the lowers are no worse at all, even less affected? I can't see well, so you tell me,... So, the other possible issue could be a micronute defc., low level, but there... also more likely with the borderline pH! Most of the micronutes are immobile types (within the plant), and are very reactive metal cations,.. they need to be around constantly at low levels and chelated (in absorbable forms),... chelation is key, and that can be lost after a while....might be the case here! So, even with such soil types and methods as this one, it's wise to have some nutes around just in case,.. a micronutrient supplement is handy, and treats without adding more significant NPK,... Consider getting something like Earth Juice Microblast or some other dedicated micronute supp'....

I’ve got mammoth p, recharge and the full line of blue planet organic nutrient line. I’ve help off on the mammoth and recharge after the problem came up. I treated four times, since I run 24/7 I get quite a drop in temp when my cobs are off so I haven’t in a couple days because the outdoor temps have been below zero. Do you think it would be wise to add the micro from the blue planet line? The sour stompers are doing good as well as the sky walker. The 4 assed monkeys however, three are okay, two are really stunted apparently and aren’t stretching. Planned on watering tomorrow, let me know what you think bud. Thanks for the input @Waira

Can I lower the soils ph by watering with a lower water ph? I usually have to use earth juice crystals to bring it up from 5.5-5.8 to 6.5 when I water. Thanks again

keep inoculating! Mammoth P is a specialized microbe blend that focuses on P and micronute cycling and availability,... yeah, keep it as warm as you can, cold brings the whole machine to a near halt! nute defc.'s can start quickly, even if there's nutes around, uptake and transport are restricted,....
Hmm, well if 4 foliars of Ca-Mg didn't help, maybe it's a micronute issue after all,.. not very distinct though, a tough call,... Zn, maybe,...
sure, you can adjust your feeds and water if needed down to 6.2-ish for a few times and see if that helps adjust,.. be sure to take A-8 reading in well moistened soil, not after you've fed or watered though, the adjustments will skew results,... keep that tip clean, buff before each use, wipe clean after,... let it sit for a couple minutes to stabilize, but don't let it sit in there for too long,....

I will continue with cal mag and mammoth p then. My ocd won’t let me not take care of that accurate or any of my other equipment. Had this same problem on my last grow, burnt tips and the faded leaves. Never fed anything for the first thirty days except molasses with distilled water, ffof soil for that grow though. Switched to the blue planet line after thirty days, got great results. Hopefully they turn out okay, appreciate the input bud. Thanks again!
