Any ideas? Temps upper 70s at most; no sign of bugs from naked eye on leaves; small fan on low just above the plants... my guess would have to be nute burn or pH imbalance. This is FFOF soil and they've only been given distilled water so far in life at neutral pH. There are 3 total plants, 1 looks good and the other two are mottled in color with slight up-curling on leaves.

Fox farm can be hot and ph can swing either way. I would get a probe and check the soil ph.

Accurate 8 already on the way. I used a cheap POS at first that was telling me 8 pH on soil. I don't trust that probe, but I've seen many say that FF soil is not consistent where it's supposed to be.

Thats ehat i have... Great tool!

New issue on Day 15. Woke up to find one of my plants looking like this - mostly effecting the lowest and oldest leaf set. Looks like a slight rust color within the leaves. 82 degrees in tent at around 60% humidity. 2 Cobs on at 32". Had just watered 1/3 gal per plant last night - neutral pH distilled water.

Hey bud she is looking good. Nothing to worry about. There's no way you have any type of deficiency in that FFOF soil. Just dont overwater and she'll start booming.

.. not distinct enough to make a call on mate,.. first leaf set usually get haggard looking soon anyway,.. are you using any Ca-Mg? Might be wise considering the soil's suspect acidity, and your using Di water wihich has zero pH buffering capacity,...

I have CaliMagic but have not used any liquid nutes yet. My Accurate 8 that arrived a couple days ago said that all of the pots were 6.8-7.0.

huh! that's a first, FFOF is too basic,...I've tested many bags, and most all came in low 5's pH, which is fucked! So, their quality control issues continue, going the other wat now,... ... you were right to distrust the POS skinny probe, pure luck it read right IMO! So, the pH is a little high, but no point is screwing with it to bring it down, the feeds and other activities will do that likely, and no defc. issues here,... good that you use Di water, no carbonates in there which is what does the pH buffering in solution, so that should help too,... The A8 is a little tricky to use, so to get best results, always buff the tip before each use after it's been stored,.. corrosion/tarnishing will mess with accuracy... take readings when the soil is middle range moisture, never dry, or overly wet, it will skew readings,.. don't take reading after feeding either, same reason....keep the evenly moist, misting the top if it gets too dry, but still well moist a bit below,...

Things continue to worsen IMO and now even my best looking plant all this time has started to get these spots that seem to be leading to discoloration and then curling. I still do not know the issue. With the first plant effected, it began on the lowest set of leaves and then jumped up to the next fan set. These spots are starting to show quickly on the other plants, on their fan sets, and not on the lowers first.
