Mephisto Genetics DCAT drops Skylar White in GBD soil

Ok, here we go again....

In soil, you've gotta keep them on the edge of being hungry. That's why I get a mid strength soil and don't feed for weeks.

This is stuff I learned from my mate Captain Beefheart on another forum. Before I met him, my grows were very hit& miss. (They have been a bit like that lately too but that's other issues)

So, the soil mix is a good potting compost, 20% perlite and 4 tablespoons per 10 litres of dolomite lime. Always water at pH 6.5 and if you can, use slightly warm water.

The main trick he taught me is to wait til they look hungry before you feed them. This shows as a lightening in the colour of the leaves. They'll go a shade lighter, the bigger ones pale up first, then it's dinner time.

Gaawwwd I'm drunk now.. No more typing.. [emoji51]

That makes sense. I have started watering with better ph levels in my water. 6.5-6.6 so I'm good there.
The only difference is I don't feed anymore. Don't have to with the amended soil I'm using. It's all in the soil. We'll see how the next run goes and maybe I'll cut back on the amount of amendments I use.
I remember beefheart was on here shortly and seemed to know his stuff.
I'll see how the next one goes then adapt from there...
Thanks again for the tips and stuff. It's always appreciated my man [emoji106][emoji106]

Yeah, Beef's been doing it since the 80s. He uses a 400W HPS on four plants in a cupboard, I use 600W and he still smashes my yields. Fook knows how.. [emoji848]

Some guys just have the touch. And some of us can muck up a wet dream...
As long as my DWC produce like they do then I guess I'm good with a bit smaller soil grows..
Sure I'd love 6-8 oz soil grow but I'm thinking that will not be the norm for me.

Practice makes perfect Cat!

Ooo! I'm sounding like an old lady now! [emoji23][emoji23]

Update pics from day 49. Filling in really well...won't be a pound but a hell of a lot less trimming [emoji39]
