Well I can say I've never had it be a problem for any of my auto seedlings period... hundreds popped.
I suppose not having the right temps, humidity, ph water, etc can help attribute to problems with OF...but I'd say its more an issue amongst new growers with their tendency to overwater.
Just stating theres the other side of the spectrum of those who never have issues with it being 'too hot'
No fear buddy, Don't overwater and dont feed nutes for awhile and you should be golden.
It is literally formulated for cannabis' needs.
Of course like WVR said, adding perlite to any medium is a great move and allow for medium to dry out.

I never had problems with germination. I'm simply stating Autos don't have the "recovery period" since you can't veg an auto for as long as you like. If you burn them early on you are stuck with the results. You can't fix that with an Auto. I saw insane improvement in my seedlings when I went to a soil less mix, ProMix... I never had the kind of grows I did with soils like I do with Promix. But like i said. Take it easy on the nutes and don't over water. You will get good buds! Just have to be more diligent in watering and feeding. If you're a new grower it's just more things to pay attention to with using pre ferted soil.

Autos are a delicate plant. I had to learn the hard way. My yields are much greater now that I have understood how sensitive to nutes they are. :dance:

Thanks for all of the advice guys. Im semi-knowledgable like I said I have grown before just never made it to harvest heh. I was a week away and I had to throw them out due to a family member finding out . Im 27 lol im not a child, it was my ex's mother that found out and threated to call the police heh.

Anyways, yes they are in their final homes now. 3 gallon grow bags. The ones germinating now are going to have to go into the OF im strapped for cash and the soil by itself cost me 20 bucks so im going to have to risk it. But I think alot of mistakes new growers make is over watering. I learned that lesson my very first grow. I didn't realize everytime i watered i was feeding them with through the soil's nutes. Anyways, they are both looking healthy, one of them has REALLY taken off since yesterday.. its gotten noticably bigger and its first 2 sets of leafs ( not coltydons ) are alot bigger. The other ones "yellow" tips are going away but it hasnt grown too much yet.

Ill be planting these seeds tonight or tomorrow depending. But im going to post alot of pictures and videos along the way. So keep checking back if you are interested


ps: Can I start giving them this "Sweet raw" on the next watering? I wont be feeding nutes until they show their first signs of being FEM. They are feminized seeds so I know they will be females thank god. And also, would you reccomend the Soul Synthetics BIG SWELL or Rock resinator for my flowering nutes? It says the "Big swell" can also be used as an additive to your actual bloom nute... what do you reccomend?

Ive kinda come into a bind lol.. I dont have enough soil for the other 4 to go into 3 gallon bags... So I think 2 of them will have to grow out of cups... for now atleast.. I might try to transplant later... but honestly I didnt think this out to well. So Ill have 4 in 3 gallon grow pots and 2 in cups. Lol

Sorry to insinuate that you were a first time grower.... You can always improvise. Like buy a gallon of something... Ice cream, milk, etc... if it's white or clear just tape it up so light can't get to the roots... Or try to get the biggest cups possible (44oz, 32oz) if you have to stay in cups...

You'll be fine with the OF bro... I wasn't trying to make you panic. Just aware of the adjustment in pre ferted soils. Especially since this is not your first grow, you're aware of over watering,etc... I'll have to look the sweet raw up... is it an additive? does it have N-P-K numbers on it and if so what are they? I would stay away from giving them anything but water. Or water and Myco if you have any... Until they show sex. No nutes. Or around week 3 you can start gradually feeding if you feel you must start feeding or the plants show you otherwise...

I think they are just trying to let you know as well to keep an eye on your feminized plants. I've had feminized beans go STRAIGHT male. It depends really on WHOSE feminized beans you bought or have. Most you don't have to worry about. Certain seedbanks/breeders have reps for having unstable fems. Just another heads up bro. Nothing to stress about. just to be aware of.

HAHAHA classic! But ya I ran out so the last 2 gotta stay in big ass giant cups that i put holes in for filtration.. but they have to go in the MG I said sorry to each seedling as I dropped it in its hole. HAHA.
