Grow Room [Dinafem] White Widow & [Auto Seeds] Berry Ryder

Looking a good size for their age pal :)

Don't think the marks are from bad nutes though, i have had the same marks appear each time i have used Bio Bizz and not started with my CalMg supplement early enough which seems to be round week 2-3, and thats even when using AlgaMic which is supposed to have a supply of micro elements, i have come to the thinking that CalMg is needed with a Bio Bizz grow if to avoid any possible def in either of the two.

Day 28

Doing fine. I have a hunch these won't yield as much as my last grow which was an ounce total but a lot can happen yet.

Hmm... I have epsom salt and a calcium nutrient I made myself with vinegar and eggshells. I started using them and the plants got a little better. I just can't seem to get the dosages right...
I may also have pH problems again which would certainly explain a lot but my GHE drop test says it should be about right... I bought a (hopefully) proper pH pen off dx.com for 11€ and I gotta say I'm pretty excited to finally get rid of the drop test. Hopefully.

I just started a berry rider myself man on the 2nd like 11days ago now........
Urs is lookin nice.....

Just finished the third of a 3pack of Dinafem's White Widow. the grow is in my sig. It's hanging to dry right now and pics are up. A very solid 10 weeker.

Hey buddy! Thanks for stopping by, and of course the rep. Hope you do as well with yours as I did with mine. Those trichs are crazy, right? I blame the Terpinator which I brought in this round on a recommend from my guys at the hydro store. Well worth checking out. All 3 strains benefitted and I was hitting them full strength at 30ml/gal the last few weeks, with no problems.

Thanks for the heads up! I actually haven't seen that Terpinator stuff before. Looks like a legit product, however I'm pretty sure it's close to impossible to get any around here. If I ever switch back to salty stuff I'll definitely give it a shot, though!

Day 36

The plants are looking pretty good and I'd say the yellowing problem, while still present, is not quite as bad as last time. That's good. It's gonna be a while before I learn this feeding stuff properly...
Trichome production has also started nicely. You can clearly see how fast the genetics are on the Berry Ryder. Auto Seeds advertise it as an 8 week strain and I can definitely see why. It's a crazy strain in many other aspects as well; I spotted a 9-fingered leaf a while ago (that's a first!) and perhaps the most crazy thing is that it's stopped smelling completely around week 4. I rustled the leaves, the pre-flowers and NOTHING. It's starting to smell again now, though.

Day 36 is looking nice. Pistils are there, and some frost is coming in. Very nice development on the flowers.I'm a little worried about the yellow, though. It's not such a worry at the bottom of the plant, but when it gets high up top, your plant is definitely looking for something. Hope things have continued to improve on this front as you said things were looking better overall in your last post. I don't have enough experience myself to help out, but I'm confident you'll work it out. Had a freebie Berry Ryder up myself in my first grow, but working in a small crowded space, I snapped it all the way back to the lowest 3 nodes. DOH! It's got a pretty good rep though, it might surprise you.

I'm pretty sure it's pH related. I made a mistake in the beginning because I moved and didn't even realize the tap water here is completely different. My last place had a well with a nice 6.7-7.0 pH but here it's around 8 (with all kinds of nasty chemicals, too I imagine). The plants went their first week without any adjustments.
:face:

My last grow was worse because even then the pH was a bit off and also I think I didn't give them enough nitrogen...

Then there's the possibility that my GH drop test isn't as accurate (anymore, it's been open for well over a year now) as a proper pH meter. I finally bought a pen and I'm just waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully it solves all my problems and makes me sandwiches (it won't but it's nice to fantasize lol).

I'm growing increasingly excited about the Berry Ryder. It's just so damn promising... :hump:
