Harvest & Curing Do I need to start flushing?

Ahh interesting! The only reason I’ve considered flushing is because I’ve seen so many people suggest that it improves the overall smoothness of the smoke

i flush some and some i don't its more of a cleanse i just taper my food right down at the end for say my final week but i cure all my weed after its dry in jars and that gets me that tip top smoke and smell

thanks for your quick reply! Her trichomes are mostly cloudy with the odd amber one on her sugar leaves so I’ll keep going for another week or so before I start my flush!

hmmm...well, lookin at the picz, i'd say they still have some fattenin up to do, but, if ur already seen hintz of amber, that makez it kind of a tuff call, lol actually, when all is said & done, the plant itself will tell u when it enterz itz final phaze, but ya, it takez a couple growz to fully realize that & learn to recognize it it can't really be explained in wordz, lol, it'z jus sumthin u come to "feel" by watchin ur plant & learnin how to read it is all for instance, i've currently got an auto kush, Gracie, that'z at 99d today, and started entering her final phaze around the end of last week i'd say...again, it'z hard to explain, but they jus kinda "stop" really, lol...they'll do a last-effort fattening, then jus plain wind down as their batteriez go dead...remember, autoz are on a clock anyway, i've been doin alternate light feed/plain water, and will start jus plain water every time this week sumtime i'm thinkin...jus kinda wingin it really, cuz she'z ruffly 70-75% cloudy, with no amber yet, so...but ya also alwayz gotta take side note that some strainz never do amber up...funnee how nature do dat, lol :smoking: either way, gen fyi -> hair color meanz squat...it'z all about the trichz! ppp

I don't think you need to flush. It will simulate a heavy rain and after that the plant will struggle to find nutrients, it's all. Maybe it will speed up the harvest or something if there is a lot of nitrogen in the soil, it's one of these things that we do cause we believe in it but don't know what we do, I do many of those but not this one.
