Like do the emit any sort of gas/air beneath the surface that would express itself leaving holes/caverns/tunnels in the soil?
cuz if they don't...I'm fixin' to burn my house down!
Here's the "issue", last time I checked on my plants, everything was fine, soil was nice and moist and most importantly it was even and level! To my shock and horror, when I came home, each pot has had its soil disturbed and there is 1-3 holes/tunnels in each.
My current thought process...
It was right before their "dark period", and many bugs and pests are nocturnal. Add to that the fact that I had watered recently, anything that could have been living in my soil may have felt like it was being drowned and decided to emerge from the dark abyss and infest my space. If this is the case, they are most likely angry, plotting revenge...and world domination.
Sorry if this all seems stupid, but since I found Goliath [a spider] in my space, I am seriously regretting bringing the outdoors inside.
If it helps any, most of the "holes" are against the sides of the pots while only a few are in the center.
