Mephisto's Ripleys OG & Green Poison by Sweet Seeds
2 x Green Poison by Sweet Seeds. 6 days old today. Germinated with Root Riot cubes. Grow in coco/perlite with 2 x marshydro 300w. I only have one Mars in tent at the moment.

Nutrient schedule per 1 gallon of water

Rhizotonic 1ml
Calmag 1ml
FloraMicro 1ml
FloraGro 0.5ml
FloraBloom 0.5ml @ 400ppm & 5.7pH

The middle of the seedlings look like they're turning a light green colour. Is this Calmag deficiency? I have been watering daily but will change this to every other day for the next week. The fabric pots feel a bit wet today

One of the seedlings has perky little leaves

Wile the other seems a little droopy

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

The newer growth will always looks lighter green at first but will turn darker green as they get older.I would hold off the nutes for another week or so because they are very sensitive at this stage. At this age there won't be any defiesency so count that out.Other than that they or it looks just fine.

Oh that's a relief, thanks. I'll hold back the nutes.

hey Cat! :pass: ... well, in coco, you have to feed, so don't hold out on them,... not a Ca-Mg defc. though,... is this a trusted brand of coco? Those symptoms are not specific enough to make a call, but it's showing in an odd way,... did you check the pH in there? Coco should be low 6's-high 5's... you know, sometimes those cubes are a little funky in chemistry, I've seen some odd stuff from them on occasion here,... stay the course Cat, watch for progression.... check the pH to confirm, and let me know if things worsen,... GP! :d5: :woohoo: that's right, you got some from an earlier recommendation! prepare fro some super dense, gummy fruity-licious buds mate, this one's a winner!

Hi Waira, Yes, I bought these on a recommendation from you. I do check pH to 5.8 and I'm using canna coco professional. Odd you should say about the chemistry of the cubes because I sowed a Ripley's OG by Mephisto at the same time. The Poison sprouted within 2 days, the Ripley's didn't show. I'm lookin forward to the poison and have another 6 seeds for a rainy day. Many thanks, Waira. Here's a :slap: for your help, always grateful

 Cheers Cat, thank you, and you're always welcome! Next round, try just an overnight pre-soak and plant direct, about 1cm deep,... cubes bug me! Many seem to get fine results from them, others get disproportionate troubles ... yeah, with Mephisto quality, a non-germ' makes you wonder,.. but it's hardly unheard of to have the rare misfire.. not all seeds are winners! just the nature of dealing with them,... was it an old seed, stored at room temp's?

Dammit Waira,I said hold off the nutes than you come in and say feed right away.LOL then i realize he's in coco but he should still feed a weaker dose at first. It's kind of funny that when I give an answer I make it short and sweet because I no you.ll be around with your usual six paragraph thesis but thats fine also.Take care buddy.

I just bought the 3 Ripley's and it may well just be a duff seed or my inexperience. If the current one doesn't sprout, I'll try the soak and sow directly to medium. BTW I realised what I'm doing wrong with the Green Poison... the LED was much too close, 10" too close eek. I set the distance of the LED for veg rather than germination. Moved the light and feel sure I'll see some improvements soon. Cheers

...and I did cut back on the nutes. 400ppm was way up at the max. Thanks NVet
