I drive a 1994 Nissan Sentra. And she's a great little car...she's just...ugly lol

So probably about a year ago I bought some of this As Seen On TV shit thats supposed to clean your headlights.

In this picture, it looks like a completely different headlight...and it probably was lol

Well. Please allow me to be the one to tell you - SAVE YOUR MONEY. lol and while some as seen on tv products are the shit, this is not one of them hahah. AND you've gotta scrub the shit out of it until your arm feels like its going to pop off, and it STILL doesn't work lol.
Let me tell you what DOES.

BUG SPRAY.

and i shit you not. Of all the things (that you probably have stashed under the bathroom sink or in your linen closet) that will make your headlights look BRAND freakin' new. BUG SPRAY. Who knew?!

IMG_20150413_165603_resized.jpg <-- before using bug spray, only the 'Fast Brite'

I drive a pos truck. Bug spray won't help it. Its smokes like a two stroke it smokes so bad I dont even have bug spray I just let her idle a bit BAM... No more bugs

Stepside I think I have seen you driving around haha

Unfortunately this won't work for me either I also drive an old truck... like before plastic headlights old.

spray nine and jewelers rouge too works well.better that toothpaste in tandem since toothpaste is usually way for abrasive.bug spray and spray nine works well on izenglass(uncertain of spelling but its the clear heavy plastic on canvas windows on boats) too.toothpaste works just leaves larger able to see swirl marks..usually.:Sharing One:

yeah good stuff man. well im a stoner and i like my lens to be free of swirl marks ppl are different and it ultimately lessens the effectiveness of the lights.epsecially if theyre the old halogen types like my 89 F-150 5 speed lol

nothing like an old truck! my 1997 Chevrolet C1500 will be hitting 250,000 miles soon......if it makes it...lol! I'm afraid to polish the headlight lenses, they are probably the only thing holding it together.............

wow. I didn't know all of that stuff would clean headlights....perhaps i should do a little google magic prior to going out and buying crappy as seen on TV stuff that doesnt work hahah....

and now that Im thinking about it...there should be like....an 'AFN Life Hacks' thread where every body posts different life hacks...such as the bug spray on the headlights...and ooo heres another one.

Did you know that rubbing alcohol will clean microfiber?

We have a microfiber couch and we....ok IIIIIII'M not the most...careful person in the world lmao. Example? I've spilled the ashtray on the couch a plethora of times in the last 5 years lmao. rubbing alcohol made this BEIGE microfiber couch look brand new. And it was great because if you had used soap and water, you'd have an 'unsittable', lol, couch for quite a few hours. Rubbing alcohol evaporates much quicker.
