New Grower Does a part harvest work ?

I am trying it now myself. I basically took 50% of the plant down and left the rest to mature. It's maturing but there is absolutely no increase in size

Although I am not finding a huge increase in size I am finding those popcorn buds are filling out a little and maturing considerably.

My experience, under CFL, is that progressive harvesting is of considerable benefit, and well worth doing.

While I do not have other lighting experience, IMO I doubt that you could get the same benefits to the same degree under more intense lighting such as LED.

My CFL and T5 lighting had more pop corns than my higher powered HPS for sure. Strain makes a difference too. Try staying away from super autos and keep to strains that grow bushy or top well will help. The quality of the pop corn and the time it takes to mature them is not worth it to me. They are to fluffy under CFL for me to give any time unless I am blasting in to BHO.
