New Grower donkeykong's grow cabinet

Finally, he's here for you!
It's the LAST member of the D. K. crew!
This Kong's...so strong, it isn't funny!
Can make a Kremling cry out for Mummy!

He can pick up a boulder with relative ease
Makes crushing rocks seem such a breeze
He may move slow; he can't jump high
But this Kong's one heck of a guy

Lol. in case anyone is wondering what on earth its about ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWSgsbWiX_g

you poor thing if you posted this stuff sayin' hello and a few shorter divided posts texts:P
you would be there already:)
it won't take long and is a security precaution for the site against spammers and bots so it is needed
your just under the slight time crunch for this situation
I am sure you will get there easy enough if you just poke around a bit on a few grow logs and comment "nice plants" and things of the such it is fairly easy to get there
just make two paragraphs two posts:) on your long lay out of your build of the cabinet thread it will help also:)

cheers bro. I have been getting busy this evening getting things rolling already so I can upload some pics soon too. thanks for your support :)

This is the built-in cabinet that I'm converting over, its about 3ft across inside. Ive taken out the two middle shelves that were there and emptied the thing out.

Pleased I'll be able to keep them all in there, I suppose it is quite large.

Id popped up to the local hydro shop earlier, to grab a couple things. My first excursion to this kind of shop. Wish it was more like a showroom but it was a counter nonetheless very helpful and I think I got the right bits to start anyways.
Im starting out lining the floor first, since there is only floor board below and don't want water or something going down there.

Compressing some images off the ridiculously high megapixel camera I have just to post them :)
The other thing I picked up was 5 metres of "diamond mylar". £2.50 a meter and its quite wide. So Im setting about creating something that looks like the inside of the grow tent I saw, except its built into the cabinet, and with funkier reflective stuff.

Cutting it to size and tacking it across the battening and doorframe using staple gun, pretty quick and effective..

that should be a good start....

The diamond mylar looks like just the stuff I wanted :)

I've decided to try and wrap the whole inside of it. Those battening worked out well to give some useful places to tack into, so pretty quick work. I decided to use it on the floor also and wrap the back of the doors.
I'll probably end up with a sealed box so I guesse I better plan some ventilation. Also work out whether air should go in the top and out the bottom or vice versa ?

generally you want the exhaust to go out the top where the heat gather's...and bring the fresh air in the bottom to go across the plants..

Thanks GoAuto6. Makes sense as you put it. I figure I could fit a couple silent fans like the big buggers I have on the double radiator of my PC's water cooling system. push it in the bottom and up out the top. Maybe I can get some carbon filter material for the outlet side later in the grow. With that in place I can close the cabinet doors and near all the light will be contained.

feels not bad for a catch-up quick job so far. Ive managed to wrap all of it, the 5m worked out perfect. Left the hanger pole thing, maybe it will be useful for the lighting or something.

Looks ok for stealth with the doors closed, and pretty funky with them open. Be nice once a lamp is in there.
