Here's a few pics i just took mail.google.com.jpg2.jpg3.jpg nothing major def doing some lst and equipment upgrades next time around but was really just trying to get a feel for growing in general

Nice turntables. Would it be better if they went slower or that doesn't matter?
Also where did you get them from?
Awesome!

Thanks mate!
I got them here for £12.99 each ; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Trumpeter...es_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item1c334b5967

Slower would be what I wanted but I'll have to modify the thing for it, can do, but lets see how they run for a while. Besides I don't think the plants have any gyros to get dizzy so, I don't think it will make any difference. On the light they will get, still over a day will average out equivalent over each plant, whatever speed they are rotating.

I would have like to get them all on individual turntables really, but I couldn't find good ones that will take a heavier load also, at the right price. These will take 2KG each.
Hopefully they will work ok through the 32oz grow competition, then I can work out a better plan.... I would rather make the 5 turntables and mount them with bearings onto a single wide base, then drive the whole lot of them via a single stepper motor which I can easily make go incredibly slow as well as know the positions and return to them. I will sync that to a timelapse camera and switch to white lighting for the shot when they are bang on back in line :)

That's what i am hoping for from all three of them the other two are a week behind the first one but look like they will probably yield more they have a few more bud sites. and the smell has totally changed in the past week before they smelled pretty spot on to a grapefruit but now its getting a bit more piney :smokebuds: hope yours turn out well my dude its a great experience

Donkey Kong, what's your favourite Donkey Kong game?
Mine is Donkey Kong Country 2 for the SNES

I still miss my flip up double screen LCD donkeykong ! I don't know if you remember them, amazing back in the day. Some kid nicked it one day at a birthday party. That was many years ago now, tho now u reminded me about that I feel like buying one again but they are probably collectable and very expensive!

Steady progress....

So here's what I've spent so far ;

5 seeds from Pic'n'Mix Seeds (uk) - about £40
Diamond Kevlar 5M - about £25
Pots - £6 from local garden centre
soil/coco/vermiculite - about £20 (still got loads left!)
200W LED grow light and 2x10w grow led tubes - £330 from moneytree hydro
30W Grow spectrum CFL and holder - about £8 all together
Canna start nutrients - £18
Two 200mm PC fans and speed controllers, £20
Ducting reducer - £8
2 Turntables - £28
other little bits'n'pieces I already had like a staple gun, sprays, mdf sheets...

So in total about £485 spent so far. Hope the results are worth it!! After the 32oz comp and with bigger pots the yield should be better. I might repot some of the plants I rule out of the comp into bigger containers and let them flourish.
