Mephisto Genetics Double Grape RWDC

Okay finally something good to show and talk about. I have survived root rot and now moving on to training. These gals are strong, topped 2 days before noticing root rot. Spent a whole week recovering and doing it nicely.

For those wondering what was done I'll go through it in next post. For those not worried here is the dgs.

Root rot cure - washed roots in a separate bucket with 4. 5 gal of water and a whole bottle of peroxide.

Clipped roots but that was not needed, old roots turned white after about 5 days.

Taped up air lines going to buckets about an inch in bucket and 4 inches back from bucket.

Added paper plates around base to help block light that may come in from pebbles.

The major thing I think helped was adding two air stones to res and of course running hydroguard again.

AAlso changed all of solution and vacuum buckets clean, then wiped buckets with a bleach solution. Cleaned all air stones with bleach water along with pump filter.

Wow what a total comeback, I thought I'd ruined all my double grape ladies. But I have a feeling that my next problem will be room to grow.

super nice recovery. I have 1 dbl grape on the go about 20 days behind your grow so eager to see how things go.
:goodluck: Even though I don't think you need extra luck. Doing great.

Nice recovery! However I see the one is looking a little paler than it should. I also noticed you have COBS. Not sure how many and how big your tent is, but be aware of the Spotlight effect of COBS. The lighter color can be from light intensity. If pH is good, Cob distance would be the next potential source of pale growth. It is not bad, but you dont want it to progress. What are you currently feeding? I dont see deficiencies, which also makes me think that you may need to back the lights off her. Good luck, slow
Btw, a larger tent may be needed if you keep growing MONSTERS! Keep up the good work! Peace

Well the pale gal has been that way since first popped. She has an odd discoloration on leaves also. But they are all Sharing the same feed so not sure what to do. Also I had a return line back up with roots so they all sit a couple of days with too much water. But I got it figured out I think.

I took 4 1970 pennies and bent them to fit in return lines and 3rd day now and roots are staying away. Fingers crossed...

Tent will be coming down after this run and I have a few tricks up my sleeve for next run. Going to relocate buckets across from each other instead of staggering the way they come. Also got some light fence to strap on top of net baskets for tying down.
