Lighting DP CDB Kush - lots of leds :)

They do look a bit thin, hopefully the lower temps will boost the bud production. Would be nice to see a picture of the whole plant if you get a chance to snap some more. Best of luck!

Aye but that probably due to the mainlining to. The more you top the thinner the buds

Ok, been long overdue with an update so here are some recent pics.
She's on ripen now and hopefully she will be ready to chop end of next week.

Thanks for taking a look.

Awesome bro.

Thank you TaNg, coming from you, means a lot. She should give me a nice bit of oil.

Thank you db mate. If I had done a 8 cola mainline then these would be gazongas. 16 is just to much for my grow space. Going to have to go through a lot of trimming come harvest day haha
Anyway, the hot summer temps and I think wrong spectrums on the bysen have caused some problems. I've been reading up on the use of IR in leds and according to Ed Rosenthal IR light induces flowering but it also induces stretch.
I asked for Ir leds from that company because in the original spectrum none was included. So they added Ir on my request. But they added 2 leds per module making 12 Ir in total. This is to much IMO.
Going to tape most of them shut in my next grow to see if it makes a difference. And I'm also going to avoid growing in Juli & August. That being said, I'll probably sprout a DP night queen end of August so I can finish around Christmas time.
Am going to try a little 80x80cm scrog this time. By the way love your scrog mate. Wish I had done one myself now

Sorry guys but this diary is over with a big fail. I had to go away for a couple of days for a little vacation that my missus booked and came home this evening to see the sorriest looking plant I've ever grown.
All leaves are hanging down and I don't think she will recover from this. Gave her a quick watering/feeding but I don't think she will make it..
Going to harvest what I have this Friday. You win some and you loose some I guess.
Thanks to everyone who visited this diary.

you be surprised im sure she will perk back up give her a flush just incase and see how she responds incase its a lockout

Thanks mate! A scrog should work well for you, at least you won't have to worry about the plant growing into the light. I hear you on the summer growing. This was my first summer grow as well and it's a pain to keep the temp and RH in check, if I have a choice I will avoid July and August as well.

Sorry to hear about the plant, hope it recovers! Night queen sounds good, it's on my list of plants to grow as well. I'm deciding beteween the night queen and the ortega indica for my next grow.
