_MG_0058.jpg_MG_0068.jpg_MG_0087.jpgjust wanted to say thanks to Tony and the DP team. I think that its awesome how they maintain contact with the communi_MG_0084.jpgty. This is my first grow. Just wanted to put up some pics of the Tundra. I have three in a wilma type system with a 400W HPS. Check out my album _MG_0082.jpg Not really familiar with posting, so please forgive me if the post is in the wrong place or the pics dont come out well. cheers

I wondered what a healthy Tundra looked like. Just like the seed bank photo but better. Great plants. If you stay give us a smoke report.

first grow!!!!

really impressive mate, all under 400w of light. dp are really doing some top strains, you want to get yourself a journal going and get on the dutch passion competition.. growing ladies like this has got to be a winner!!!:peace:

I have to agree with you about the DP genetics, I have had some noob fun(mistakes) with these girls and they haven't missed a beat, almost as if they just had to grow!

Alan, thanks for the comment, your plants were some of the few that I could find on the net, and it was how I found this forum.

On thing that really surprised me was how big they got, the tallest is 85cm, the pic on the net if you google tundra is like one big cola with some little side branches, but these girls look like they got a gene splice from somewhere.

these are some of the best Tundra pics I have seen ! Amazing work for a first grow under 400w HPS! I mean it. I may be asking your permission to use your best few pics on our website soon

I am pleased to see this on a couple of different levels. Firstly, this shows just how convenient, fast and simple auto's have made it for the new inexperienced grower to become self sufficient in their herbal needs. Secondly, I am pleased to see one of our lesser-known auto's perform so well. All of our AutoFem's are bred to the same quality standards, but Think Different, AutoMazar and AutoBlueberry get 90% of the attention. For me this is nice as it shows the quality of our lower profile autofem's.

So, PLEASE do keep taking photo's all the way through to harvest and let us know your crop weight when dry and let us know your opinion on the smoke quality.

Remember, and please everyone else also remember, that the best grow diary of 2012 on this forum with DP seeds gets a voucher for 250 euro's in our webshop. 2nd prize €150, 3rd prize €75.

And for me this is a great demonstration of what a first time grower can achieve with AutoFem's. Very impressive stuff !

Wow, thanks Tony, On a really positive note, I noticed the first signs of some amber trichs today. They are getting close, depending on what they do over the next couple of days, I will most likely start the flush, anyone have any suggestions I am all ears, or in this case eyes!!!

How many days are you? If you plan on chopping on day 70 then you may want to flush from day 65 onwards. At this stage the longer you are prepared to leave the plant the more weight it can pack on. Seymour could have chopped the 365g Think Different 10 days before he did. But by giving teh extra time I am sure he got an extra 15% or maybe more.

One option for you is to flush at day 70 and chop at day 75. Maybe it is pushing Tundra a little bit further than she would like but it would give you the optimum yield. Your choice.

Please do keep taking pictures and be sure to dry and carefully weight the final yield. With your permission I was thinking of reviewing this grow in our weekly website blog to show'real world' first time grower results. So please do keep a couple of high - resolution images of the harvest-time plants. And keep up the good work, we are really impressed and are also looking forward to your opinions on the smoke report when you have had chance to dry her and cure her for a bit

Tony,

Hey they are on day 62. I included some pics. Been checking the trichs and not seeing alot of amber, but the red hairs are increasing, take a look and help a noob out. Sorry about the white balance on some of them, I was in a hurry.IMG_0112.jpgIMG_0114.jpgIMG_0115.jpgIMG_0118.jpgIMG_0120.jpgIMG_0122.jpg

Tony,
I have all the pics here and you can use anything that you need from this grow for the blog. just let me know what I can do if you need hi res pics, I can send you what I have from the vaious phases. I think that they are going to go the full 70 days before the flush. the EC is at 1.4+ and they are doing fine. lots of red hairs starting to pop, but they are at about 50% and the trichs are sitting at cloudy. Many of the side branches are starting to bend d/t the weight of the buds. They are packing it on! Once again PM me and let me know what you need and I'll get it to you.
