Congrats on the new girlie!!! R.I.P. little one... May the Ganja Gods embrace you in the eternal garden!

hi sativa,

welcome bro. Remember the plant wont need too much watering at this stage and you wont want those roots getting too wet. Fingers crossed for you here man, I hope you get some nice buds

hey Tony, nice to meet you! :howdy:

thank you for the information and the rep; highly appreciated.
good kharma is always welcome.

gave her the last watering at the beginning of this week. and the soil is still moist inside, so there is no hurry.
she looks pretty good, nice green leaves, strong stem. and she is putting out some sort of smell already, a good one though.:D but not that much to install the carbon filter yet.

:peace:

can someone help me a little with math? at what ratio do i have to mix my tap water (ph 6,8) with the purified water (ph 5,9) to get a ph 6,2, which is what you want, if i am not mistaken.
thanks in advance.

will your tap water remain at 6.8 or does the ph go up as it gets colder weather..and ,if the purified water stays stable at 5.9....1:1 mixture should work....if you aerate it with a bubbler and let it sit for 24 hours and check the ph after the chlorine has gone off..it should be good.

if you have some leftover soil you can put it in a pot,run some of the water through it until you get about 10% back in the drip pan..then test the ph of this run-off water...you will know the actual ph of the plants envioment..then its easy to adjust the ingoing water to maintain the 6.3 to 6.8 sweet spot that cannabis prefers in soil.

she is preflowering

my tap water stays at the same ph, even when the temperature gets colder outside. the 1:1 ratio is what i did until know, thanks for the verification hereb4.

the next thing i buy is a ph meter; i am measuring with paper at the moment.

as to my girlie: there are growing white hairs out of the first node, i think they are called pistils. sorry, unfortunately my camera is too shitty to capture those.

all the leaves are looking good, except the two very first leaves. they have not grown anymore since the first pair of true leaves appeared and are almost completely yellow.
is the plant getting rid of them, because they are not needed anymore? or is this the beginning of a nutrient deficiency? should i pick them?

No bud your good. Those first leaves will stop growing. Your looking great right now.
Much luck to you. Hoping for big fat buds for you.

phew, good to hear. i thought i am in trouble...

thanks for clearing this stylez.

day 30

buenas tardes!

rebecca is now one month old, and 13 cm tall (a little bit more than 5 in, for all you non metric systemers).

she is looking mighty fine.:D

the two small bottom leaves do their thing... and i let them.

there was a brown spot on the stem near the base; looks like someone tried to gnaw on there, maybe bacteria. i misted a big load of h2o2 and i hope i killed all the mofos. we will see.

also the carbon filter is activated, because the smell is becoming more distinct, at least for my fine nose.

here we go!

day 34, a case of emergency?

what's up people!

there is something going on with my stem. from the first to the second node there are fine red lines on the main stem. the stem of the two lower leaves are completely red.

the ph is at 6,4. maybe phosphorus deficiency? maybe the soil's nutrients are exhausted? should i give her a feed with quarter strength?

the overall impression of the plant is good. the main cola-to-be is developing.

thanks in advance.

:peace:
