How do I lower ppm in water? My water at the house is above 600 already. [emoji53] I think I need to find some RO water and start using that.

HOLY F&%K! Did you really just say the water you are using is 600PPM? Again this is adding to your issue. A simple RO/DI filter is $70.00 US. IMHO I would not even think about a hydro grow with water like that.

OK, let's clear a lot of things up. One, apparently the meter I used was drastically out of calibration. Thanks cheap meter. 2nd, I personally know people who work in the water department for Houston city, and they verified and assured me my tap water ppm isn't that high. Ok, now that that's cleared up, I actually purchased another TDS meter and my tap water was about 297 ppm. My nutes water was at 784 ppm. Not 1100. Both meters were tested with 1000 ppm solutions.

@HotBunz Thank you for the very helpful information. I now keep my plant around 400 ppm. She's drinking more, and is actually growing bigger than she did before.

This pic was taken just after lights out, she was perky again after 4hrs sleep. She is 50cm directly below a 600w hps so probably not loving the intensity.

Does yours droop before lights out?

I just added another 300w led to the mix yesterday, so I'll update you on that tomorrow. I'm not really use at this moment. How she responds. With one 300w, no, she didn't.

For me some strains just droop few hours before lights out .... if you look in before bed you instantly are like wtf is this ...... than in morning happy as can be lol I just think of it as me st the end of a long day lol dragging self to bed lol

I haven't updated in a while. We're right around 2 months. Ppm is around 540(she drinks a lot here) still not budding tho. 600w of led light.
