New Grower Dropping Seedling_Need Grow Guidance.

So what do you all think is wrong with my seedling that looks all bent down. Is it anything serious or is it stunted.

Bit of an overkill. We understand you need some advice. You have gotten some advice that will suit you, you could shy away from creating new thread for every question you have, and just post them here. If you don't get a reply as soon as you hoped, you could do a little research on the forums here, and help yourself a bit more by doing so. If people see your thread, they will help, I assure you. Sometimes, timing is off and you may have to wait a bit for a response, if not, bump the thread.

With that being said. Your plant looks fine. just a bit wet.

I hope that helps. now if you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to post them here.

Thanks a bunch

When you first start growing, you worry about everything...but these little plants want to grow...

Yep. The best thing that ever happened to me as a new grower was that my plants were hidden away in an area that I could only peek in on once every day or two. Kept me from worrying and over-analyzing every little thing. Give these plants a decent environment and they'll grow just fine. Fuss over them too much, especially when they're seedlings, and you can literally love them to death. All of us have seen it happen. The best thing to do is relax and let nature take its course without feeling like you need to constantly intervene - you don't. There is really nothing you can do for a seedling anyway except not kill it by overwatering it or putting it in a soil that overfeeds it. Moore, try to relax and be patient, hard as it may be. Your plants will be fine, but don't expect perfection as you're first starting out. Hell, I've been growing autos for years and the last thing I expect from my grows is perfection. :smoke:

I got ya. Thanks y'all. My drooping seedling has now puckered up and is an inch now and now 3 purples have sprouted perfectly fine. My light is about 24inches away so I hope stretching won't happen but MH lights pretty strong. Any thoughts my grow guiders haha.

humm..I am having humidity issue as well..Mines even below 20 :-/
I am about to give these domes a try, hopefully that'll help..

Looks like our grows are close to same time along...good luck man, hope everything goes well for you..excited to see!!

IMO you just over watered and IDK anything you can do beside let it correct it's self. Plants droop when over watered and when the soil is bone dry. You will have this nailed after this grow and never have this problem again. As mentioned earlier over watering in very common. Do your best to LITFA and your plants will thank you. In case you are wondering what LITFA alone means, it is Leave It The F___ Alone. My very first mentor taught me this and it is priceless advice. You are going to be fine, just chill a bit and LITFA until your containers aren't heavy, you'll get a feel for it and be rockin in no time. Lots of very skilled growers here more than willing to lend a hand. Best of luck to you.

Welcome to the best auto site on the net (except for pics) and you have some good advice given to you. When you prepare your pots next time use a spray bottle to get the soil mix moist throughout and just spray the surface (until wet) two or three times a day until they sprout. Pour about 30ml of plain areated water (ph 6.5) at the base of the seedling when they are about a day old. Don't have the circulating fan on (just extraction fan), make the moisture in the pot come to the surface. The sooner the roots get going the quicker the leaves grow, the bigger leaves will absorb more light and the plant grows. A bit simple but the idea is to develop the roots to support a healthy plant. Every grow is different and everyone has their methods. Visit your plants often and do nothing unless you have to. Let the soil get dry (not bone dry) between waterings and don't feed for the first 10-14 days at least. Good luck and good karma.

My friend, it will work without doubt. If things will not get better for you, they will definitely not get worse.

This little plastic dome makes very nice environment for little babies and seems that light penetrates without problem.

I have two groups of Think Different in two places. One place is remote and I covered seedlings with plastic to be on the safe site when I am not there. The second place is close to where I live and I was sure I would handle humidity without covers.

Covered seedlings are from feb 22 and uncovered seedlings are from february 19. Both were exactly the same size two hours ago. Second thing is, that my little babies get rid of seed shell without problem, what was not so easy for them when uncovered and dry.

Guys, do not hesitate to get yourself these cheap almost free covers (plastic bottles will do, no doubt. Just make a hole in it).

Whenever you put a seed into soil, water with 50 ml of water or what you think is OK, I start with 50 ml and let it go.

The only thing you have to care about now is light distance. And you will be very, very happy observing young life bursting in the very fine environment.

Seeds start with 100% humidity and it has to go down slowly later on. Anything bellow 50% RH makes their life very tough. They do not have roots to suck water that evaporates throuh tiny leafes and what is the result? Something that we definitely do not like and that is slow growth. And slow growth means less sweet buds which we like so much.

Moore,

you have above, a wealth of the soundest advice you could wish for. Take heed, and take notes of your own grow. (for comparisons of your next grow)
It never fails to impress me the amount by which other forum members care for each other. And that goes double for new growers like you and me. The fact that guys take a lot of their hard earned free time to help each other with grows is heart warming. In a few grows time we should be able to pass on our own experience, which will be good.
I can't let a post go by without a pun - So, the Moore - the Merrier.

I won't give up the day job. eP.

My bad about the same message 4 times. That was actually an accident. My phone wouldn't load it so of course I hit the button a bunch of time ..a lot actually. But thank you everybody. My plants are doing a lot better and I'm going to upload new pics for ya for advice if that's cool.

I'm having problems with humidity tho. I even got bowls of water everywhere and damp rags everywhere still no change. Its still in the high 20s.
