Having just today hung the last of my three outdoor plants it is safe to say for this first run, I did both.
I had two indoor scrog plants I harvested a month ago also.
Removed large fans at the grow site.
Then I take each branch as it comes off the plant and trim any remaining larger leaves (not sugar generally and I do not save).
I hang to dry until smaller stems snap or break off without strings.
I then do a close/final dry trim before jarring the product for curing.
I do this on a large electric dryer and I save/collect all this trim and the resin from my shears, fingers etc finally, scraping up any trichs on the dryer top.
I then cure my trim right along with the tops and once cured I have been making shaker hash with it. Might have my friend make some shatter with the outdoor trim, haven't decided.
So, I voted "Dry" but really I do both.
All my buddies think I am nuts and all do their final trim wet. I may give it a try but I don't like to handle the tops at all if possible and and trichs I "lose" I reclaim for the most part.
