Harvest & Curing Drying in grow tent

Should be fine as long as the air isn't stagnant and as long as air flow isn't so much that it dries the weed out too fast ... I prefer to hang the plant whole after harvest and trim the fans etc during the drying time ... you should have a good hygrometer and a good thermometer ... 70* w/ 70 rh is optimal drying conditions ...

Okay cool thanks for that just ordered and hydrometer and thermometer!

Hanging the whole plant is my preferred technique but most times I don't have the space ... The more I look at my drying technique the more I realize it is a variation of the brown bag method ... If I were to use the brown bag technique I would put one layer of parchment paper on the inside bottom of the bag ... be nice to use a bag w/ a hygrometer and a window so a person could watch it working ...

hey mr. t-d i know some real experienced folks have answered already, and i agree with them all but i thought id drop in to!
i say YES to drying in a tent, thats ideal
i hang whole plants chopped at the base, leaf and all, in their own tent with a 4 inch carbon filter.
in three days i come in and remove nugs and put them in screens to finish. my RH in the room is usually around 40-50 when drying so it takes me about 6 days. this way im removing my nug half way through the drying. so in a total of 6 days i begin the cure!
for me, this method has given me the BEST results. i know for some space is an issue. i have extra rooms for my projects though since i live alone.
anyway, when i go through those steps i get buds that are killer and lay you out.
cheers man, hope you get some dope weed

Okay thanks for the reply! Just a quick question. When I'll be drying the tent will be in a garage and that will be December time. Could I put a heater blowing towards the inlet hole of the tent because it's going to be cold!

might blow really dry air in, if it dried them too fast it could smell a bit like hay. maybe look into paper bag drying or the freezer method. winters pretty unforgiving for growing isnt it lol
