Harvest & Curing Drying without trimming sugar leaves

Forgot to mention that leaving the sugar and even water leaves help 'seal' in the terps. Some people leave sugar and water leaves on until they are ready to partake. I am finishing up manicuring some (Blue Dream x Purple Kush Auto) that I harvested late last fall. Filled with terps.

Peace.
So you left the sugar leaves on the blue dream then? I tried some last night and was harsh due to no cure but kept me on the couch. Hate to see what happens after cure lol

the only time I will be easy is when I'm killed by death

Yes, I left the sugar and water leaves on. Yea, I just sampled some Harle-Tsu by doing a quick dry, same thing, somewhat harsh.

Peace.

too process oils and things drying that way is the best way.but for true curing and storage I have to completely disagree with that.for flowers solely.Ive never had good results keeping well frosted sugar leaves on there.it will take away from your flowers smell in the jar.I too have been doing that off and on for about 3 years or so and without fail it always take from my flowers. stored to sure proper flowers? i seriously have to disagree with curing bud that way.

again three times the work for minimal terps? nah.that is quite pointless if processed ,to re trim dry and to cure is again 3-4 times the work.but knock yerself out man LOL for flowers?drying and leaving them there IN the jar for duration?thats backwards im sorry.

I don't put the un- manicured flowers in jars, sorry if it sounded like I did.

Always more than one way to do things. We all have to find what works best for each of us.When harvesting lbs of flowers and it is a one person process I found that this process works best for me and my flowers.

You talk to most folks that process lbs of flowers and even with help the way I am processing is pretty standard.

Peace.

aww ya man i prolly misread something, but i was only concentrating on the second part to the question is all lol, cuz as well all know the way you were taught and the way you've taught many of us me included IS thee best way to maximize your concentrates production. but ofcourse not to maximize efforts for a well terped flower. unless ya got incredible OCD or something..lol

IMO, it doesn't make the slightest difference if you trim the sugar leaves or not. It only matters to those who think buds look better trimmed. sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. And I've ground up both and had people try to tell me the difference, and not a one could. proper cure is what matters as the process is what reduces harshness caused by chlorophyl and sugars . Curing breaks these down. Sugars is the big one and is the cause of "black ash" NOT anything you feed your plants.
