Thanks everyone! This is a strain that needs to be in other people's hands! My clone comes from a local redneck.....lolo, who's been growing it he says, for 20 years! He lost his male and seed years ago, so its all clones now! I'll clone ans STS her before I start crossing her. I'm going thru pics of plants I have grown, looking for plants with gently scalloped leaves, not pointy ones, and wide. The genes might complement, I don't really know. I figure I'll make 4 crosses, and breed three generations of each and see what I have! In the mean time, she'll be just fun to grow!

And she has started growing. And her color has improved, so I'm feeling good about her now.

@pop22 Are you looking for the traits of the Super Skunk or the Purple Star. You will get the hardiness to the mold also. Neat plant to mess around with. I see it also can finish in 7 weeks but I guess you can take the 7 weeks with a grain of salt I would imagine. Cool strain to use it has a lot of good traits.

I think the local variant may be Purple star, as the natives call it Red Bud also.

And I'll take whatever I get! These are very hard to get. I'd love some non-fem seed!

Red Bud sounds cool for some reason. Glad you got a hand on them. You could have some fun with some non fem seeds time to breed some ducks. I am hope you will share your journey with these I think a lot of people would find it really cool.

I transplanted her again yesterday into a three gallon pot this time. hoping to take a clone from her in 2-3 weeks.

going out of town, will post pics when I get home.

Ducky is looking great! I took 2 clones off her today. I plant to STS one to breed the other with. THEN, I'll see if I can make her an auto!

Thinking hitting a Dutch Passion Frisan Duck with it, in hopes of strengthening the duck genetics.
