A few updates. First is the dry weight for the Sour Crack. 24g of nice chunky nugs. The green smell/taste is about gone. The old smell is coming back. The flavor is hard to say - a bit green but lots of under lying flavors mixed in. Will know more after she's cured in the jar for a few weeks (if she lasts that long lmao).
I chopped the Deep Blue C yesterday at 78 days. I was going to trim her up nice for a pre-chop picture but I gave up on that rather quickly. I just chopped her stem at soil level and was amazed at what I found. Her stem was 1/2" diameter and only 1/2" tall. From there the branches just exploded in every direction. A bunch of the shorter branches formed a cabbage ball of buds in the center. Sure made for an interesting trim. Ended up with a 239g wet weight - twice that of the SC.
Can't decide if the TxA is looking lonely or just enjoying basking in all of the light. Have a business trip next week so I will postpone germing a Sour Hound until after I get back. Will give the TxA a bit of extra feed before I leave just in case the wife forgets again. At 51 days she should be able to handle it.
Many thanks for the rep Nicker Best to wait on the germ. The wife forgot to check on the SC & DBC when they were germed. They got a bit dried out. That was their first problem. Second problem was I put them in recycled soil that had not been flushed of the bloom nutes from the previous grow. I try to not do stupid things - at least not twice in a row lol
Am with you on that one i am still loving me some Deep Blue C, there is just something about that high that is quiet unique it still gets me each time Now i have managed to get a proper cure on some nugs after over drying my first harvest, the taste is just amazing pure berry goodness.
