Indoor durpoi's PC Grow: Pakistan Ryder, Purple Ryder/Jems, MI5

So I made my first mistake by being too generous with either watering or nutes My girls are looking real droopy, but i have no discoloration or dry tips and there seems to be normal growth. I gave my older 2 girls their first feeding on day 6, but gave 1/2 strength instead of 1/4 :no: with 1Litre of water so they both got 500ml approx. I am a bit confused at what to do so i watered (just a little) for the first time today since then with plain water, and see how they are tomorrow.

PS: If anyone can help out, it would be appreciated

That pot is quite big, i don't normally feed until 2 weeks from sprout but i too have them in huge pots for seedlings. You gotta remember the soil in that pot would have been moist before planting and the seedling isn't using up very much water from it, unless you have it in a really warm room then it will take 2 weeks for that pot to dry out. you'll find the seedlings tap root will dig down deep in the pot and will stay in the moist area.

Do you have a pressure spray can or a hand held sprayer? Thats what i use, so to germinate the pots are soaked, then stuck under the light, in about 12 hours the top layer dries to an inch deep so i spray twice a day to moisten off the top of the pot and keep the seed damp. Once they show above ground i go in once per day and use the sprayer to put down a circle of moisture an inch out from the stem but round it. the rest of the top is drying out but the rest of pot is still wet, i do this for the first week, by then usually i can be sure the roots are deep enough to be in moist soil and i won't water again until the pot feels light.

As your seedling has not filled the pots with roots yet, feedings should not be needed as the plants should be able to get everything it can from the new soil it is growing into. You start feeding once it has used up the soil reserves.

i would agree. i thought i had already posted a reply off my phone. it's really easy done when they are little. i just use a pipette or a sprayer at first. just let them dry out and they should be fine man :smokebuds:

Thanks guys! i checked them this morning and had the nice surprise of seeing them perked up a little at the rate they are going, they should be back to normal tomorrow! ill be going easy with the next watering and use a spray bottle instead :thumbs:

Happy New-years to all Could someone please explain the symptoms of a stunted AF? After my over-watering incident my PR/Jems seems to have 0% recovery on the other hand the MI5 has had about 50-60% recovery. Although there is some growth on the PR but not near as much as the pakistan or MI5? I don't know what to do

they usually spend most of the
energy on growing a root system,
top growth seems slow,but they
have alot going on down below.

Do you have any pics man? they always seem slow to me at first.
Once you have 3-4 nodes, growth should speed up.

Here is the pics snooch I love the really broad indica leaves on the paki! MI5 is at the end, PR in the middle, also a close up of the PR. Im real worried man!:smokebuds: I waited until the soil was dry enough to crumble out of the bottom of the mesh before i watered, think ill just water every-time its that dry.

I hope that's what is man! As you can see they look real sad but i suppose time will tell

maybe its too much light i use 1 24watt for like 3 seedlings its fine
