buenas dias AFN,

sativa_guy at it once again. :cough:

after taking a breather and smoking some delicious Polarlight #3, i decided to start my second grow.
this time i'm going with three ladies: Think Different, StarRyder and AutoXtreme.

the basic points ...

soil:

ordinary potting soil mixed with fine perlite at a 2:1 ratio

nutrients:

biobizz alg-a-mic, grow, bloom and topmax

light and schedule:

for veg, 85w dual spectrum cfl 24/0 for the first 1-2 weeks, then :186:
for flowering, 90w led + 4 18w fluorescent tubes (2700k) in the corners of the tent, :186:

since i know the ph of my tap water, which is consistently good, i'll only measure the feed going in and out. i try to adjust it anywhere between 6,3 and 6,5, not really being particular about the whole ph thing...
it'll be OK!

and here is the little extra i got... the yellow cheese (capsicum annuum), 1 week old



he will show up once in a while.

your polarlights have been curing for a while now, i think. did you smoke it yet?

Honestly, I don't smoke much. Sometimes every day for a few weeks and sometimes I go for weeks without smoking. I haven't smoked any yet but I have had it curing in mason jars and have passed some on to friends that have been very pleased. I enjoy the grow really more than anything, I am a farmer and have been farming for years. Selling my produce at farmers markets and local produce stores. So, to me, it is fun just being able to master another plant. I enjoy the journey much more than the destination and I am always looking for another journey.

i'm growing all kinds of mushrooms in my sparetime. but i'm very busy in my job, too busy to go bigger with the production.
