okay so i placed my order from tscc (7 think different, 10 nirvana n.l, and 10 nirvana bubblelicious) all fem autos obviously. i have a 10' x 5' x 7' tall tent and am gonna try 13 the first run (5 ebb n flow, 4 DWC, 4 soil). the seeds are all in wet paper towels germinating and will most likely be planted today in rapid rooter coco plugs in the little eco dome i have and then transplanted once they develop some decent roots. my setup in the tent is one 1000w hps and one 180w LED (supposed to be equivalent to a 400w hps). ideally id like the hps to cover my ebb n flow table and dwc buckets. the table is only 3x3 and sits on a 25gal res and i have it arranged now where there are 2 DWC buckets on both sides. on the other side of the tent i have four 6gal soil bags that id like to grow using the LED. the soil im using is FF Happy Frog. i picked up advanced nutrients 2 part solutions (sensi grow and sensi bloom) and have not been able to find an accurate feeding chart. the one on their site doesnt help much either so any input anyone has on that is much appreciated. the pH of my tap water is between 7.9 and 8.1 but the nutrients are supposed to be pH perfect. what does that mean?! ive also heard quartering the suggested dosage. any suggestions? ill get pics up when i go back to the house but its hard cause i have to upload them from my iPhone. basically im looking for any help i can get with this. thanks!

Best I can suggest is to read all the stickies here on AFN, and then hit us up with specific questions as they come up. The answers to your questions will cover a lot of ground, more than one could do justice to in a short answer here! Welcome to AFN and good luck with your project!

thanks mikey1. anyone know how long happy frog will feed my babies for before i have to start adding nutes to the water? i was told it would say so somewhere on the bag but have come up empty handed when trying to locate it.

Should be about a month until you add any more nutes to her.. By that time she could be flowering so id go ahead and skip vegging nutes and hit up flowering unless your wanting to get maximum grow for a bigger yield. Post some pics when you can! And tssc is where I got my seeds! Pretty good place. Try herbies next time though! They give you a lot of freebies :bong:

thanks Savin53. i had heard anywhere between 3-6wks. all beans have germed and will be put in coco plugs this afternoon and in the eco dome. i will get pics up later once they have been put in the tent. also, do you have to use a chiller when doing DWC or ebb n flow? ive heard mixed reviews but dont really wanna spend 300 bones on one. and is 80-86 degrees F with about 55% humidity too warm of an environment? i appreciate any help i can get as i am fairly new to this and this is my first real grow

No problem bud:)... That first question I'm unfamiliar with but I know about the temp one.. I use a cheap grow setup that works great for me.. I use 7 cfls that put off 150 watts and the highest if let my temp get is 86 then I freak out and popped on the fan.. You wanna keep it at 75-80 .. 78 is ideal. I mean 85 isn't bad but I'd try to knock it down to atleast 80 and keep there. You don't wanna burn or stress them while there little other wise it'll create a stunted seedling. But 85 won't do that I don't think.. But just to be on the safe side I'd keep it a 75-80.. As for humidity.. It's not a big factor at this stage but the rule of thumb is above 50% in veg and below 50% in flowering. In flowering your gonna wanna deff keep it lower to make sure no mold produces. I keep a fan on 24/7 one for the heat two for the airflow so there won't be any mold. But that's about it. Some people like to look a this stuff as rocket science. When I'm general just look at it as growing another plant but this one is king of all plants :bong: if you have anymore questions let me know man.

Oh and btw! Reading up is a great way to learn all good knowledge on growing. Remember your only reading on persons advice since there is no hard facts on growing. So feel free to post all newb questions on here. That's why I there is a new growers forum on here :)

i've been on here reading up every chance i can get lol. all beans are in their respective plugs in the eco dome under 2 T12's (anyone know if thats an alright bulb for seedlings? they give off 2900k lumens and a real cool blue-ish white light) i am working on getting pictures up now so you all have a better idea of what im working with. sorry about the LED being on but that side will be my soil grow. on the other side of the tent is a 3x3 ebb n flow table with four 5gallon DWC buckets next to it to allow for space and movement inside the tent

here is the table and reservoir underneath it with grow medium and netpots waiting for the coco plugs to be transplanted.

ideas? suggestions? comments? anything i can get from fellow growers would be much appreciated. much thanks!

oh and the hydroponics side of the tent is all under a 1000w hps bulb with 2 hanging fans to cool the air.

also what should the ppm and ec of the water in my res and buckets be at? ive seen various reccomendations all over the site and dont wanna kill my babies when i transplant. currently i just have the shitty ph strips to test. advanced nutrients didnt come with a ppm or feeding chart and the one on their site is a little difficult to understand.
