My grow's an f'n mess. It's as ugly as you can get without killing them outright. Still to be seen if I get a crop out of it. I put on a hazmat suit before I get them out of the tent. I'm at a total loss what precipitated it but am determined to find out so I don't have a repeat performance.

The object of this inquiry, the Dyna Gro nutes. I'm not questioning quality but quantity. Point of contention, Dyna Gro changed the feeding schedule around the time I started my grow. They basically doubled the dosages. On top of that the company spokesman said to use the full dose as listed on the chart even in light of the fact that autos were the subjects of the grow. So, whereas the old chart said 3ml of Grow I would have started with 3/4 ml up to 1 1/2 ml, the new chart says 5 ml and so I gave 5 ml. Something fishy about this. Doesn't fit the usual prescriptions. Now, I one plant was symptomatic before i ever fed it. I gave 1 ml Grow day 14 (before I caught wind the new chart) and noted on day 18 that one plant had been showing brown spots for a week or so (I neglected to note it right away), and that one fan leaf had dried up. Sounds very early in the grow for such a thing I think. It's gotten much worse but I can't identify it.

Anyway, Dyna Gro users, how much you feeding your plants? (I know nanvet gives 5 ml and says the plants handle it fine). Anyone else out there?

What problem are your plants having?I never saw a chart but followed the dose on the bottle of one tsp per gal.Post some pictures.

This is not my first attempt at broaching the subject. One thread is called

  • what's with these leaves?

It's close to impossible to uncover the origin of the problem. I will say that the condition deteriorated. I first saw brown spots symptomatic of ca deficiency as early as a week to 10 days. Day 39 I measured my wet sol with a meter at ph 4.8. I've been trying to resolve the problem for 2 weeks now. I flushed with Sledgehammer, top dressed with Dolomite lime, cut back on nutes. My soil ph measured 6.0 three days later and 6.2 every time since including yesterday. The plant is still living and flowering is progressing but I've removed lots of dried up leaves and what foliage remains is not a pretty sight. Yellow, brown, wilted and dry. I am considering that more than one factor is at play. Maybe early ph problem if that can manifest itself that quickly and nute burn although I think it looks bad for nute burn. I also question my well water and have switched to bottled water for the duration. IMG_0332.JPG
