Question for everyone. Which setup would you suggest would be easier. Ebb and flow or DWC

I've researched and I'm getting mixed reviews.
Apparently you don't have worry about water temps when it comes to ebb and flow and it's much simpler what do you guys think

:smokebuds:DWC !:peace:

No matter if DWC or ebb and flow, you have to watch water temp.

Nothing like stale ass water, and slime. Heat breeds shit in water.

Either way dwc is easier the ebb and flow, and trees can easily be grown in the DWC.

Is it better then ebb and flow. No, both systems have pros and cons.

I'm going with everyone else on this DWC will grow you a tree. I checked out my uncles grow he got going on ebb and flow with rockwool cubes and shit idk it seems harder to keep the water cool and you gotta have pumps and shit could go pretty south a leak would b no good. However a bucket, or I will always suggest a drinking cooler, is much less likey to spring a leak. The most complex a system gets the more glitches will need to be overcome. It depends on what kind of person you are. Growing is intensely stimulating to me. I love/hate running into problems and having to solve them. If you are like that, and think you could rig a mean ebb and flow, and can deal with any problems that might arise, then that's a good choice. DWC is fairly simple but will likely require daily attention unless you get super tech.

Ebb and Flow has been easier for me. If your power goes out, having your roots dry out a bit isn't going to hurt them, but if your air pump goes out in DWC it's shitty situation. I think the roots benefit from having a dry period. You can grow trees in Ebb and Flow just as in dwc. That's not really an issue. If you use netpots and give your roots the same room to grow you can get plants as big as you want. Many Ebb and Flow setups use the same buckets that DWC users regularly use.
On a larger scale Ebb and Flow is cheaper to build. You don't need air stones in every bucket, and a larger pump to run them. Just one large stone in your reservoir.
I prefer Ebb and Flow personally.
Both are good.

Peace.

Thanks guys, I don't really want to grow trees. Just something simple, from what I read Ebb n Flow isn't as difficult as dwc to upkeep. Water temps don't matter as much. Although the initial setup may be a bit harder overall it's easier.

That's pretty much been my experience.

I like ebb and flow because there's less chance for error. DWC has the lower up front cost and you can built it in a couple hours. I like ebb and flow systems in buckets like the Oxygenpot superflow. That's what I will be getting when the price drops a little bit.
