Anyone used this? My local shop recommended/upsold it to me. I plan to use BioBizz light mix in 13 l fabric pots. It sounds good in theory (and their biosys has been great) but it seems to say on their site that it works best in bigger volume pots than i have. I would be indoors, under LED. Anyone had any experience? I am trying their customer service too and if i get an update i will post. I was just planning to be totally bio bizz both medium and nutes. All thoughts welcome. x

Hey mate im mostly a hydro grower but currently growing some plants in smaller pots (6 or 7 litre).
Biobizz light mix so dont normally feed them until day 10 or 14... But i had some life cycle and decided to top dress them around day 10. That kept them fed for a good couple weeks

thanks Woody- i was wondering if just using it for top dressing rather than mixing in the soil might be the way to go. appreciate the response

I spoke to Ecothrive- firstly what a lovely couple that run it. Super helpful and clearly have experience. For us smaller growers in smaller pots, mixing the life cycle in with a lite mix will actually make it more like All Mix. The smaller pots work fine but will not last the life of the plant. So after about 4 weeks i will need to use nutes like Bio Biz and/or top dress with Life Cycle. When mixing up the life-cycle into the lite mix, with 50litres of lite and life cycle, if you can keep it all in one then the warming/cooling of the soil should be done in a week or so. If you are mixing it straight into the 13 litre pots, then it can be used more or less straight away as the soil won't warm and cool in same way. Basically bigger pots is ideal as the nutrient is available for longer and the bigger the mix, the more the warming and cooling will be (he did use a technical term for the warming but i didn't make a note of it... something thermal). Hope this helps someone else.

I am going to give it a go. My hunch is to mix most of my lite mix, but keep some back, fill my pots with the mix but not to the top, then top up with plain lite mix and plant seeds straight in. This last bit is all my own idea and if you could see my grows you will know my ideas are not usually the best. But i like to try around. Then i will switch to bio bizz nutes when i am about 4 weeks in/ flowering (cos i have some) and see how it goes.

@gargyoyle here are my zambeza candy carmelo at day 50 from seed.
8 of them in biobizz lightmix 6litre pots in a 1m square tray.
They look rough but i didnt give them much effort i just pour a 20 litre bucket into the tray every 2nd day.
But for next to no effort im happy with the bud they have produced so far

@woody looks good to me. i am a fan of a not perfect grow. I have some mephisto seeds coming that i am keen to get going so def want to do this. Leaning towards top dressing only per you

Should be fine mate. Just get ready to feed them before the life cycle runs out and youll be good
